Awesome staff that makes you feel right at home from -in to -out!!!! I'll admit dentistry is not one of my favs. Absolutely love the vibe there. Top tier dental education with processes! Thank you everyone~

Great place! I really love this dentist :) I have enjoyed my experience pretty much every time. Black excellence at its finest! They are kind and considerate. They are also affordable and I never have to wait too long! I would 10/10 recommend!

These people are awesome,caring they make you feel comfortable from the time that you step into the office.The service is beyond words, I travel almost 50 miles to get there and it is always worth the drive.

Worst experience!!! The computers were down on the day of my appointment so they sent me home and told me they'll call me to make another appointment. I didn't go back. A month later they sent me a bill of $82.00. I don't understand how I should pay that amount when nothing was done. It is so unfair!!! I called the receptionist who then proceeded to tell me that just because dentist Ferguson saw me and told me I needed to get a root canal then that meant I had to pay $82. That man looked into my mouth and said "oh you have a discolored tooth you'll probably need a root canal" and I should pay $82 for that?? I didn't even get a X-ray or a cleaning.These people are con artists, not to mention selfish. They don't deserve your money because they simply don't care about the customers well being at all. Oh and did I mention that I was a new patient. First impressions last.

So I asked Dr. Ferguson last September about correcting my smile. He refers me to Dr. Bocklett. Dr. Bocklett refers me to MUSC in October. I attend every exploratory appointment at MUSC for 8 months. MUSC tells me 06/24 they can not help me because I have gum disease. News to me because Dr. Ferguson nor his dental hygienist ever state to me that I have gum disease but document it in my file since 2012. The receptionist very apologetic at first rattles off the two two deep-cleaning appointment dates like I am a dentist and know deep cleanings equate to gum disease. I get the two deep cleanings when I first start become a patient. No one mentions anything about gum disease. The receptionist then tells me I was supposed to have an appointment every 3 months because of the gum disease. I remind her the office tells me when to come I do not make my own appointments and I attend every appointment. So then she gets really upset with me because I become livid. I have what my grandmother called Cadillac dental insurance so I and my children would not have problems like this or at least get treated if we do. So since 2012 I have had two deep cleanings and no other treatment for gum disease but I knew I had it according to the office. As a black woman, I feel so violated that a black professional would treat me in this manner. The kicker comes when I was told a hygienist or office manager may call me back my Monday. The same dental hygienist that documents in my file that I have severe gum disease but tells me "You did good today. See you in 6 months." Today is Thursday mam. There is no holiday tomorrow and I know the office is open on Fridays until 12. Dr. Ferguson does not even have the decency to call me but made sure to get me in there every six months for cleanings and yearly films. Thank you so much for showing how much you appreciate me supporting my black community with myself, my two sons, my ex-husband and my four referrals to co-workers.

Dr. Ferguson is hands down the best dentist I ever had. I grew up going to Dr. Ferguson. His bedside manner is wonderful. He fills up the room with his bright smile. He is very reassuring. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Larry Ferguson!

I was so pleased with the service I got at Doctor Larry Ferguson. Bubbles Amdell The hygienist and everyone made me feel so good. I was struggling with this since 2016 back and forth and Dr Ferguson and his staff never ever gave up on me. When I got in the chair open my mouth got two lul needles I. My gum and seems like after that I new nothing. When I woke up I ask them when they go get started and they said they finished. I felt NO PAIN AT ALL! !!! I am So sorry I waited.

Dr. Ferguson and staff are remarkably kind and approachable. They work with a servant's heart and put the patient first. I have experienced the best care and professionalism from his team that I have ever encountered dealing with a doctor's office. They go ABCD to make any wrongs right and truly take the time to build rapport with their clients. I will never go to another dentist as long as this practice exists. I enjoy supporting Black owned businesses and this practice is at the apex of its game. Bubbles is absolutely amazing and it is such an honor to know a person of her caliber. There is a sense of family and belonging every single time I walk through their doors. I will be forever loyal. Thank you all so very much! My smile is brighter because of your care.

Dr Larry J. Ferguson is the best dentist in Charleston! With over 25 years in practice, he and his professional staff will provide you and your family with state of the art care dental care! He has been my dentist for approximately 20 years. With his sedation free approach, there is virtually no pain with any minor or major procedure. His office staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional in their prospective areas of expertise. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ferguson if you're searching for a great dentist!!!!

I've been going to Dr. Ferguson since the 80s, and he and his staff have been no less than family to me and my wife. I remember one time I was there for my routine cleaning and he notices an issue during my exam. He started to schedule me to come back in as anyone would expect, but then he paused, looked at his watch, then said "let's just take care of this right now." He numbed me up, did his thing, and I was on my way not long after. Not only do I greatly value the dental care I receive, but I also deeply value the stories, advice, and good humor he has shared with me over the decades. I highly recommend him without reservation.
