A third-generation dentist, Dr. Lance Johnson has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years. Hailing from Bennington, Oklahoma, Dr. Lance has spent most of his life raising cattle with his family. He attended Delta State University as an undergraduate and went on to the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received numerous awards, including the Academy of General Dentistry Award, the Mississippi Dental Association Award, and the American Academy of Periodontology Award.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jodi Danna to the Dr. Lance Johnson Family Dentistry team in Sherman, Texas. Dr. Danna graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1995 and completed her post graduate program in Cosmetic and Geriatric Dentistry. She opened The Danna Smile in 2002 and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Dentists in 2006-2020 by the Consumer Research Council of America and Top 250 Dentists in Texas 2013-2020.

A member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, Dr. Danna is also an avid community leader, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Collin County, a sustaining member of the National Charity League, and a class graduate of Leadership Plano, a community leadership development program where she currently serves on the Board and provides emergent dental care for domestic violence victims.

Dr. Danna and her husband Pate have two beautiful daughters: Mallory, a University of Alabama graduate in Psychology with a minor in Addiction and Recovery, and McKenna, a Texas Tech University graduate in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. She hopes to become an orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Danna and her family enjoy traveling and exploring what the world has to offer.

Dr. Julie Folger started it all 30 years ago! Dental industry veteran Dr. Julie Folger started our dental practice in 1991 and is excited to work with Dr. Lance and Dr. Danna in this new chapter of our service to the Sherman community! Dr. Folger graduated from the University of Texas Dental School-Houston, in 1985, where she was a member of the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She opened her first private practice in Sugar Land in 1985, and relocated to Sherman in 1991 to open this practice.

Dr. Folger is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fourth District Dental Society, American Association of Women Dentists, Texas Association of Women Dentists, and the Sherman Chamber of Commerce. She is the proud mother to adult sons Michael and Matthew and new daughter-in-law, Jennie. Dr. Folger also enjoys gardening, reading, cooking, traveling, classical music, and taking care of her two pampered kitties.

Our Dental Assistant Ali is also one of the smiling faces youll see when you check in at our front desk. Ali is a proud 2019 graduate of Grayson Colleges Dental Assisting program and joined us in Spring 2021. A North Texas native with deep roots in the area, Ali recently married her high school sweetheart. She and her husband Jordan spend most of their time with their dog, Trigger, and their families. When not assisting our patients, Ali also loves to play slow pitch softball.

She and her husband George moved from Richardson to Sadler in 2016 and truly enjoy country living. They have four children, six grandchildren, and a large extended family that live all over the country. Cathie enjoys cooking, gardening, and sewing. She has 6 fur babies, 3 dogs, and 3 cats.

Debra, our Hygiene Coordinator, has been in dentistry since 1984, working in direct patient care and the business office. Debra and her husband Eddie have three sons, six grandchildren, and three furbabies, Rocko, Sparky, and Lola. Outside of the office, Debra and her husband love road trips and boating on Lake Texoma.

Financial Coordinator Eunice has been working in dentistry since 1988. She has been part of the business office team since 1999 and works with patients treatment planning and financial arrangements. Eunice is the proud mother of seven grown children, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and the most spoiled teacup Yorkie, Guy. She loves hiking, traveling, beaches, shopping, and reading.

Dental Hygienist Kenzie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene in her hometown of Wichita Falls. She joined our team in 2016, bringing first-class skills and high energy to the hygiene department. When Kenzie isnt caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter Kylie Kay, and family and friends usually in the great outdoors, especially the lake! Kenzie became a mom in the middle of the pandemic, and youll always catch her daughter Kylie in a bow!

Dental Assistant Lacey is part of our direct patient care and clinical team. She has been in dentistry since 2001, and with our office since 2003 when she graduated from Grayson County College Dental Program. Lacey was born and raised in Gainesville and relocated to Sherman in 2009 with her husband, Tad. They have two children, Levi, and their newest addition, Addisyn. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, and large extended family.

Meet our Office Manager, Lauren! Lauren has been in dentistry since 1982 and joined our team in 1997 to support direct patient care and the business office. She and her husband Jim have four children and seven grandchildren who keep them very busy. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys ranch and lake life, traveling, sport-fishing, and photography.

Dental Assistant Terri is part of our direct care and clinical team. She has been in dentistry for more than 25 years. She has two grown children and one grandson. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to cook.
