Dr. Lana Anderson has been an active periodontist and member of the dental community in Wichita and the surrounding area for many years. Many patients come to our practice from out of state as well, some as far away as Florida. In Dr. Andersons practice, we believe that its easier for you to make decisions on your dental needs when you know your condition and thereby your available treatment options. Dr. Anderson focuses on treatment of gum disease and dental implants. Committing to particular areas of dentistry increases the chances of successful treatments. Dr. Anderson attended Wichita State University for her undergraduate studies that also included a Dental Hygiene Certificate. She then attended Creighton University for her Dental School Degree, DDS. She completed her Periodontal training and graduated with a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She continues to be very active in continuing education. Dr. Anderson has also served as Secretary, Vice President and President of the Wichita District Dental Society. In her free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys being outdoors, especially gardening and enjoying time with family and friends. Services provided by Dr. Anderson include:

Andra graduated from the Dental Hygiene program of Wichita State in 1971. Several members of Andras family are in the dental profession and this inspired her to become a dental hygienist. Andra worked in general dentistry for two years before switching to periodontal dentistry in 1973. Andra joined Dr. Andersons practice in 1984. Andra enjoys the one-on-one contact with the patients and has developed many friendships over the years. Andra feels that working with patients on homecare is one of the most rewarding parts of her work as a dental hygienist; that and seeing the improvements after a patient has gone through treatment.

In early 2017, Andra started working full time as the office manager. She still fills in as a dental hygienist on occasion; shes enjoying learning new skills and a different side of dentistry. Andra and her husband have two daughters and are enjoying their time as grandparents to eight grandchildren.

Emily joined our practice in 2003. Emily graduated from Johnson County Community College, then transferred to Wichita State University to earn her degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated in 2003. Emily is passionate and dedicated to improving patients oral health. Helping and educating patients has been very rewarding. Patients love Emilys sweet disposition and gentle touch. Emilys caring personality makes everyone feel so comfortable. Over the years she has enjoyed meeting new people and forming relationships with her patients. At home, Emily loves spending time with her husband and four children. With sports, dance, school activities, two busy careers and a baby, this family is always on the go!

Karen is one of our many Shining Stars! Karen graduated from the Wichita State School of Dental Hygiene in 1987. Karen started working with Dr. Anderson over twenty years ago and enjoys her work very much. Karen feels that periodontics is a good fit for her and we agree wholeheartedly! Karen has many longtime patients who consider her a friend and they always look forward to seeing this pretty woman and catching up with her. Karen always has a warm smile for everyone and puts them at ease. Karens pride and joy are her family. Karen has five children and two grandsons. As you can imagine, this is a busy family. Karens hobbies include; gardening, chickens, landscaping, and really anything outdoors! As a family, they enjoy skiing in the winter and camping at the lake in the summer.

Theres always laughter in the office when Pandora is here! You cant miss this tall beautiful woman who always has a smile on her face. Pandora is a favorite with her patients and shes also a bit of a prankster. Pandora graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Wichita State University in 2000. Pandora started working with Dr. Anderson in 2002. Pandora and her husband have two very busy daughters and they enjoy going to all of their sporting events. Over the years, Pandora has become quite an accomplished photographer. Her co-workers love getting to see her work.

Jenni joined our practice the end of May 2020, she is working full time with us. We all know what a learning curve it is when you are starting a new job and especially when we are all navigating through the new normal of Covid-19 but, Jenni has sailed through like a champ!

Jenni loves to get to know her patients and really enjoys chatting with them about their families, friends and work. She has a real talent for putting people at ease. Jenni graduated from dental hygiene school in Emporia, Kansas in 2015. She worked in general dentistry for five years before joining our periodontal practice.

Kristen has a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Its hard to believe that this pretty young woman actually has a son in college and a daughter in middle school! Kristen is our go to gal at the front desk and is dedicated to helping every patient navigate the complex world of insurance. Patients can be reassured that they have someone on their side when theyre dealing with insurance. Kristen is always learning something new and has been working with Dr. Anderson since 2009. She very much enjoys getting to know the patients.

Brandy started working with Dr. Anderson in 2015. The first impression that you have of Brandy, is her beautiful smile, which rarely leaves her face, and her dimples! Brandy enjoys working with different patients every day and getting to know them. Brandy gets great satisfaction in helping people take care of their teeth.

Brandy lives in Derby with her husband and three children. Brandy and her husband stay very busy with the sporting events of their very active family. Camping is another favorite activity for Brandy and her family.

Mary Ann is our bundle of energy! Shes a beautiful young woman with a twinkle in her eye and a wonderful smile. Mary Ann is a very calm and comforting presence for her patients, shes always willing to answer any questions or concerns they may have. Mary Ann is very experienced and knowledgeable and ready to help in any way for patients or co-workers. Mary Ann is also fluent in Spanish.

We are excited to have Tonya joining us. She has a very sweet disposition and is so willing to help in any way that she can. Tonya has many years of experience in healthcare. She has worked as a medical assistant for a family practice in her hometown for several years and also worked the front desk area. Tonya is familiar with navigating the ins and outs of filing insurance which is very helpful for everyone!
