Dr. DAmico is originally from Syracuse, New York, and he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1992 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. After six years as an engineer, he attended SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2002. He migrated back to this area after finishing dental school and completed his dental residency program at St. Josephs Hospital in Syracuse from 2002-2003. He has been a practicing dentist in this area ever since.
Additionally, he completes an average of 30 to 40 hours of continuing education courses each year. Most recently, 130 hours of coursework and hands-on training in the placement of dental implants. He is also a member of the following organizations:
As you walk into our office, youll likely notice pictures of Dr. DAmicos two sons who are the sparkle of his eye. His heart belongs to the love of his life and wife, Sarah. Being a sports lover and Syracuse Orange fanatic, hell be more than glad to talk your ear off in regards to these hot topics! He loves to play basketball himself and played Division III college basketball for a strong NCAA tournament team back in the day exactly what time frame back in the day refers to is a secret he may not divulge! He wont hesitate to jump in and help out coaching whatever sport his kids are playing and is active with their school functions. Dr. DAmico is always up for anything involving his family and friends and really looks forward to those moments in his life.
Audrey went to SUNY Potsdam for Secondary Education but only tested the waters and came to find out that providing education to children was not her calling. She later found that she did want to do something similar in the sense of providing service/care to people. She then landed in the dental world providing care to patients! She not only provides care to our patients but provides the role of leadership to our team here at Kurt DAmico DDS.
Outside of the office Audrey likes to spend time with family/friends. She also has a deep connection with sports having played college hockey. Some day she would like to give back to the girls/womens hockey community by coaching/promoting the sport! Audrey has another passion that she pursues oftenhave you heard of the TV series Worst Cooks in America? Well lets just say Audrey prides herself on NOT being one of the Worst Cooks in America! She loves to cook for family and friends. Most Sundays you will find her meal prepping for the work weekIf she isnt off traveling across the country!
Broome Community College is where Katy earned a degree in Dental Hygiene and has been caring for patients ever since. Katy has been providing care to patients for 5+ years now. She is hard working and pays attention to detail at all times. Things we here are Kurt DAmico DDS appreciate in a team member! Hard working in and out of the office is Katys style!
We all know what running is right? Well Katy takes running to advance levels and beyond! She has done a couple marathons and proceeds to train for future marathons! When she is looking for something other than running she enjoys yoga. Katy is a mom to 2 beautiful cats named Molly & Mona.

Angela is no stranger to greeting patients with a friendly smile and bubbly hello! She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 13 YEARS. She values honesty and trust which is something we here at the office have in common with Angela!
When not at the office Angela loves anything outdoors, sports, being social & most of all spending time with her family/friends. Angela is a Steelers fan when it comes to football which makes her one of Dr. DAmicos favorites since hes a Steelers fan as well! Angelas favorite holiday is Thanksgiving which makes sense due to her love for spending time with family/friends!
Sarah has been seating patients for 7+ yearsand so much more! She likes helping patients and her dental team. Her values are some that we here at Kurt DAmico DDS look for when creating our teamteamwork, creativity, compassion and humor! Yes we said it, humor. We have to have something to help make the day go by faster at the office!
Sarah tends to have her hands covered in clay when not holding dental instruments because she creates her very own pottery. She enjoys being a dog & cat mom to Melvin, who is the cutest Corgi EVER and Bruce, her old man of a cat in between work and pottery! Growing up Sarah always wanted to be a dentist so it was inevitable that Sarah found her way into the dental world!
Kristy has 5+ years of experience in the dental assisting world. She likes to help make patients more confident in their smile. Patient care is nothing new to Kristy since she was a phlebotomist for years before dental assisting.
Kristy enjoys being with her husband and rescue dogs Sadie & Beau when outside of the office. Kristy is an SU fan when it comes to sports and LOVES tacos! Favorite quote is You cant make everyone happy, youre not a taco! How fitting for someone that loves tacosRight?
