Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.*Dr. Le, born to two dentists, has been around dentistry all her life. Her earliest memoriesinvolve dentistry, playing in the dental chair with her brother and cousins.

Dr. Le is a member with the American Dental Association,the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Her involvement with the San Fernando Valley Dental Society has included contribution to public service announcements.

She practices evidence-based dentistry and her advice for parents on oral health matters stems from personal experience.As she herself had four cavitieson permanent teeth at a young age and her son hasalso had numerous restorations, she understands the importance of early and preventive care.

In 2014, Dr. Le was introduced to Reiki, a Japanese technique for relaxation and stress reduction, through the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Captivated by its soothing effects, she pursued advanced Reiki training, receiving her Reiki Master certification in 2015.

Since being attuned to Reiki, it has become an integral part of Dr. Les personal as well as professional life. Having witnessed the profound benefits of Reiki for her family and her patients, Dr. Le is moved to share this technique with others. This effort has included intimate presentations about Reiki at the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She also regularly facilitates Reiki events and teaches workshops at the Reiki center of Los Angeles.

The ABPD certifies pediatric dentists based on standards of excellence that lead to high quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a pediatric dentist has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills, and experience requisite to the delivery of quality patient care.

Dr. Le did his undergraduatestudies at the University of Southern California, graduating from its School of Dentistry as a member of the honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, in 1993. He continued on at USC, where he received his masters in biology and certificate from the orthodontic residency in 1996.

He is a member in good standing of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Le is an associate professor at the USC School of Dentistry Orthodontic Clinicand is the membership chairman of the USC Orthodontic Alumni Association. He has the privilege of teaching abroad along side with the Dr. Sameshima, the Chairman of USCs orthodontic department, the basics of orthodontic treatment to Vietnamese dentists. As his professional training and affiliations reflect, Dr. Le is proud to be a Trojan.

An orthodontist is a dentist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of the orthodontists pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

The certification process involves a thorough Written Examination covering all areas of information on which an orthodontist should be knowledgeable. Successful passage allows the orthodontist to present treated cases which will be evaluated by expert examiners of the Board during a Clinical Examination. Certification is now awarded for a time-limited period and the orthodontist must re-examine on a periodic basis to retain the board certified status.
