Dr. Tanaka was referred to me by a family member who has gone to this dentist for years. The office was able to get my +1 in for an emergency crown repair on short notice, and then got her back in shortly after for a follow-up and cleaning. I myself needed a new crown so I scheduled myself, too. First, I got a basic exam and teeth cleaning by Kelly. She was easy going and professional, and that part went (relatively) painless. I had gone to another place a few years back that practically butchered my mouth and made it hard to eat for a few days, so it was nice having someone who knew what she was doing. Afterwards, Dr. Tanaka took a look at my tooth with the missing crown and made a few recommendations, explaining both to me and the assistant/resident/student (I mean no disrespect, just not sure) what he wanted to do and why. I felt absolutely confident that I was getting the best possible care. I have a follow-up appointment myself, and though I never look forward to dentist appointments, I look forward to having my teeth taken care of. I have no doubt I'll receive the same quality care and expertise that made my family refer him to me. Thank you, Dr. Tanaka and staff!

Dr. Tanaka has been taking care of my family's dental health for many years. He is a very friendly professional doctor and thorough with his examination. Dr. Tanaka takes the time to explain his analysis of your dental health, the procedure he will perform and your treatment options. He will tell you what needs to be taken care of immediately and what you should watch for future treatment. His office has a very nice "aloha" atmosphere and his staff are all very nice and friendly. His modest office is warm and comfortable, unlike some of those practices with lots of chairs and doctors all running around everywhere. Dr. Tanaka and his team feel like family and I recommend my all family and friends to his practice.

My mom and I have been patients of Dr. Tanaka's for a very long time. In addition to being a great dentist, he's also got a fun personality. When I was a little girl he used to let me put on gloves and a mask and be his "assistant" when my mom was in for her appointments. He's just a very sweet man! (Just to be clear, he's not a children's dentist.) Whenever I hear people complain about their dentist I'm always quick to recommend him. Everyone I've sent to him end up loving him. I think it's actually impossible not to. :)

Dr. Tanaka has been our family dentist for more than 20 years. He has kept our teeth healthy and helped our son feel comfortable with coming to the dentist. He is one of the best dentists in Orange County, according to my cousin who is a dental assistant.

Dr. Tanaka has been taking care of my dental health for many years. He is my best example of how to practice dentistry; professional, personal, efficient and cost conscious.
