The Dr. Kent Stapley & Dr. Nathan Kitchen office is thrilled to announce that our own Dr. Nathan Kitchen has been named one of Phoenix Magazines Top Dentists of 2011. This honor is especially significant because it is bestowed by Dr. Kitchens peers in the dentistry field, meaning that the quality of his work has been deemed exemplary by professionals who are educated and knowledgeable in the same field.

Weve known for some time that our patients love Dr. Kitchen. It is thrilling and validating to know that his professional expertise, skills, and dedication to excellence are also recognized by his peers.

Dr. Kitchen attended dental school at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, graduating in 1997.After graduation, he decided to stay in the Midwest for a while and completed a General Practice Residency in dentistryin Iowa City, Iowa, at the University of Iowa.

Following his residency, he and his family moved to Arizona. He started his dental career as a staff dentist for CIGNA of Arizona. In March of 2000, he joined with Dr. Stapleyto open his private practice at thePower and Brown location.

Dr. Kitchen and Dr. Stapley have separate practices in the same building. They share the facility and some staff, and they have similar practice philosophies. Dr. Kitchen also puts a high priority on listening to the patient, and works hard to stay on the cutting edge of dental care with his continuing education. Heis anxious for the opportunity to get to know you, to learn of your dental goals, and to work with you to attain those goals. His staff are known for the personal attention they give to each patient, and for their friendliness and courtesy.

I needed major dental work, and finally took the plunge. Dr. Kitchen thought of everything! He showed me a model of what my teeth would look like when they were done. I could not be happier with the end result! I smile so much more than I used to. Dr. Kitchen and his staff are polite and kind, and I could not respect them more. He not only does top quality work, but has a pleasant and calming manner that really relaxes me during treatments.

Arizona native Dr. Kent W. Stapley was born in Mesa and grew up in Tempe. A graduate of Corona del Sol High School, Dr. Stapley went on to spend his undergraduate years at Mesa Community College and Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at Southern Illinois University, graduating at the top of his class. After graduation, he returned to Arizona and immediately opened a private dental practice in Mesa. Five years later, he joined forces with a friend from his dental school days, Dr. Nathan R. Kitchen, and another friend, Dr. Mark Anthony. The three have been in practice ever since. Dr. Stapley enjoys being in a practice with his colleagues because overhead costs are shared and he can pass along this savings to his patients.

Dr. Stapleys practice style is simple he is employed by you, the patient. He will always treat you the way he would want to be treated. Dr. Stapley aims to be a good listener and an honest diagnostician who provides a high level of dental care in a gentle manner. The educated and caring team at Dr. Kent Stapley & Dr. Nathan Kitchen are able to assist even the most anxious patients through their dental treatment. Dr. Stapley finds great satisfaction in helping patients with dental emergencies. His goal is to handle them immediately, even if that means coming into the office over the weekend. He is always available to consult with patients over the phone as well.

He has extensive experience in endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery (extractions, bone grafting, and implants). Dr. Stapley is certified in laser dentistry and is able to do most fillings without a drill, if desired. He is also able to trim overgrown and asymmetric gum tissue and remove many oral lesions with a laser rather than a blade with excellent results. His patients have found that they are more comfortable when the laser is used, and recovery is also much quicker and more pleasant. Additionally, Dr. Stapley is trained, certified, and experienced in skillfully placing dental implants.

Dr. Stapley is a founder, developer, owner, and advisor of DentiMax, Inc., a dental practice management software company that services thousands of dental offices around the world. He is also an owner of Total MD, Inc., which is a medical practice management software company. He has been published in several dental journals for his research and expertise.

In his spare time, Dr. Stapley enjoys being with his beautiful wife and nine children. Together, they enjoy water sports, snow skiing, and fishing. He and his family are very active in their Christian faith and strive to live by the inspiring principles it teaches.

GaleOffice Manager Gale has been with our dental office in Mesa, Arizona, for over 15 years. She loves her co-workers because they keep her going every day. Gale also loves helping Dr. Stapley and Dr. Kitchen because they are truly the best dentists she has worked with, and with 39 years of experienced in dentistry, she knows what the best is.

Gale and the rest of our team work hard every day to make sure our patients have the best experience possible when they visit our office. Patient care is always our number one purpose here. Gale has been married for over 33 years and has two grown children.

Kelsey Scheduling Coordinator Kelsey graduated from Chairside Academy in 2013 where she assisted for 2 years for us, but now she is the first and last person you will see at our office, and she seeks to ease any nervousness you feel and make front office items like insurance, finances, and scheduling run smoothly.

Kelsey loves working with our amazing doctors because they are kind and compassionate to patients. Being from the area she has referred her family, many friends, and even strangers to our dentists with 100% confidence they will be taken care of. When she isnt working, Kelsey spends her time with her two children and husband.

ValerieDental Hygienist Valerie graduated from the Rio Salado College of Dental Hygiene in 2009 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Stapley since 2012. The best parts of her job are working with the great people at our practice and the fact that we have the worlds best patients. Valerie looks forward to catching up with each of our patients during their routine visits. She loves helping each patient understand the relationship between their oral and physical health and the importance of good home care and regular dental cleanings.

Valerie has been married for 28 years and has 3 great children. Spending time with her family is very important to Valerie, and they love traveling and playing together. Valerie is addicted to reading, family history, and Mexican food. She likes to think of herself as the bomb.com.

TracieDental Hygienist Tracie has been in the dental field for over 19 years. She started as an assistant at our office before attending the Mesa Community College A.T. Stills School of Dentistry for her hygiene degree. Tracie loves working with such great doctors and team members. She has 14 nieces and nephews and she loves to travel in her spare time.

EricaDental Assistant Erica graduated from Apollo College in 2004 with her certification in X-rays. Every day, Erica comes to work with a positive attitude and a big smile because she loves her job and how her coworkers feel like a second family. She considers herself lucky to work in such an awesome environment. When she comes to work every day, Ericas objective with her patients is to make sure they feel comfortable and receive the best care possible.

FredyDental Assistant Fredy graduated from Chairside Academy and uses his dental and bilingual skills at our practice by working hard with positive energy. He loves helping our wonderful patients. Fredy is happily married and enjoys cooking in his spare time.
