My family and I have been going to Dr. Band for around 20+ years. Speaking from experiences of having minor and to serious procedures done to our teeth- never have experienced less than the best care and professionalism. Will recommend to anyone who needs a trustworthy dentist. To add- Dr Band and his staff, to say in short are all just really awesome and cool people. They really care.

Excellent experience! Dr. Band is great and eased my stress after not seeing him for many years. His staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have recommended his office to family and friends.

In addition to his foul language and the curse words that he used, Dr. Band gave me 5 shots to numb my lower gum after which I had major heart palpitations to the extent that the nurse had to bring me oxygen and Dr. Band had opened the window saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry". I would not recommend going anywhere near this dentist. My jaw is still sore from the needles he put into my jaw, after 3 weeks!

Botched a veneer and a crown, as well as a misaligned bite, I was in pain for over 6 months and had to spend over $3,000 to get his work fixed at a different dentist. I had been going to Dr. Band's practice for years but had never had anything done other than regular checkups and cleanings. I had always been pleased with him since he has a nice personality, but once I had the need to get real dental work done I realized what a mistake it was to let him do the procedures. Also, his gatekeeper Judy is extremely rude, makes the experience of going to the dentist even more stressful.

The doctor is nice but the secretary, Judy or Jodi, is not. She is very abrupt and rude. She has no customer service skills at all.

Dr. Kenneth Band is the best dentist bar none. Honestly, how many dentist provide you with their personal mobile number and email address and are very responsive and attentive to your particular needs and concerns? Fact is, in the past 20 years, Dr. Band has immediately responded to my telephone calls, text messaging, and emails for emergency services. Truthfully, he has met me at his office on several occasions during holidays, off hours, or days when the office was closed to provide me with emergency service. Moreover, Dr. Band has been the service provider for my estranged wife, five daughters, and myself for over 20 years. The last eight years, I have lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey and I travel 60 miles round-trip to see Dr. Band for my dental needs. Ironically, my girlfriend whom I reside with in Elizabeth is now a patient of Dr. Band and she loves him and his staff as well. Unlike some dentist, Dr. Band is NOT a crook or opportunist who tells patients they need something that they do not. He is NOT the dentist who performs expensive and unnecessary procedures to pad his pocket. In short, Dr. Band and his competent and friendly staff treat the patient and not the insurance company or their pockets. Best of all, Dr. Band is a genuine professional who's primary and paramount concern is the patient. He wants the patient to experience no pain or minimal pain prior to, during, or after any dental procedure. Simply put, he is very pleasant, straight forward, honest and has "Happy to Help" demeanor coupled with a high quality affordable service. Dr. Band understands that the patient is the most important part of his business. He understands that the patient is not dependent on him but rather he is dependent on the patient. Furthermore, Dr. Band, knows that the patient is not an interruption in his work but that the patient is the purpose of it. In addition, I love the fact that he personally has called me after a major procedure such as a root canal. With that said, even when I relocate Upstate New York over 180 miles away- Dr. Band will still be my dentist and I will travel without reservation to see him. Above all, he knows that he is not doing the patient a favor by serving them but instead that the patient is doing him a favor by giving him an opportunity to do so!
