Dr. Alex Pooleis a native of Greensboro. He is a graduate of South East Guilford High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Doctorate ofDental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1991. He achieved a residency certificate in general practice from the Ralph Henry Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.
Courtney completed GTCC's Dental Assisting program in 2016 but found sheenjoyed working front desk more. She has been with Dr. Poole since August2017. Courtney loves being office manager, helping patients with anyquestions they may have, and being the first face people see when they comein! She lives in Greensboro and enjoys spending time with her dog, Lola.
Shea joined our office July 2018. She received her DAIIfrom Wake Forest School of Dentistry in 1998 and has over ten yearsexperience in the dental field. Shea is a native of Greensboro andgraduated from Northwest High School. These days you will find her on thephone with insurance companies advocating on behalf of our patients. Sheahas three beautiful daughters, Morgan, Bailey, and Saylor. When she isntworking, she enjoys hanging out on the softball field with her girls orvolunteering at their school.
Bonnie is a graduate of GuilfordTechnical Community College. She has over 15 years experience in the dentalfield. Bonnie loves getting to know each patient and helping them achieve abeautiful smile. When not working, you will find Bonnie at Badin Lake andenjoying the outdoors with her husband, Justin and son, Jordan.
Jennifer is our full time Registered DentalHygienist. Jennifer is a graduate of GTCC and joined our practice in 2018.She believes in establishing strong dental relationships with our patients.When not working, you will find Jennifer spending time with her husband,Tim, crafting or cheering for her two sons, Grayson and Ethan at rowingevents.

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Pool's office. It was our first time there and the office was clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also we are uninsured and they have an amazing program for uninsured patients.

Dr. Poole and his entire staff were kind, friendly and extremely competent. My dental issue was assessed and handled with the utmost professionalism and absolutely no pain whatsoever. I was treated like a human and not a number, and I felt like I was heard and reassured by everyone. I highly recommend Dr. Poole. Best experience I have ever had with a dentist.

I so rarely leave reviews, but I truly feel my experience at this office warrants one. Dr Poole is kind and welcoming, but I ended up having to go to another dentist to have work done by him corrected. My husband sent X-rays that showed my fillings clearly had overhangs, as well as notes from my new dentist that listed the issues he would need to correct including a root canal. Dr Poole's response was dismissive at best, and honestly made me feel even worse about the entire situation.

Dr. Poole's office is immaculate, the receptionists and hygienists are friendly and make you feel special, and Doctor Poole's soft spoken voice puts you at ease with whatever procedure you might need. I have been a patient for 20 years. Nothing but total professionalism.

I had a regular scheduled cleaning and had broken a tooth while traveling. Dr Poole and staff was able to do both the cleaning and fit me in that day to repair the tooth. With holidays coming up and my travel schedule, this was greatly appreciated.
