I graduated in 1979 from Loyola Dental School in Chicago with a degree in doctor of dental surgery. Originally from Trinidad, West Indies. I've been in private practice for 37 years. I also graduated from Faculate for Orthodontic Research and Continuing Education orthodontic school in 1986. I began working with Dr. Ken in October 2004. I have worked hand-in-hand with patients as a customer care specialist for almost 30 years. I 'm currently working full time as a patient advocate at the front desk. I will always try my best to 'track down' your dental insurance and help you in any way I can. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in March of 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene. I started working with Dr. Ken in April 2002. I'm currently working full time, part time as a dental hygienist and a part time patient advocate at the front desk. Whether I clean your teeth or see you at the desk, I can't wait to see your smile soon!
I'm one of the dental hygienists here at Trendsetters Dental. I graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and have been practicing for 27 years. I've been working with Dr. Ken since 2010. I love my patients and thrive on making relationships so we can work together on your dental health and needs. I started in the dental field in 1989 as a sterilization aide and dental assistant, while studying dental assisting at Washtenaw Community College. I earned my certification in dental assisting in 1995 and after working in the capacity for many years I decided to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. I graduated from Oakland Community College with an associated degree i Applied Science of Dental Hygiene in 2007. I began working with Dr. Ken in 2008, then I took a short break to focus my time to raising my two sons. I am so excited to be back working with the caring staff and wonderful patients at Trendsetters Dental.
I received my dental assisting certificate in 2009 and started working with Dr. Ken as an assistant in March 2010. I 've since then made the transition up to the front desk as a patient advocate. On any given day, you can find me 'flip-flopping' back and forth between the two. I will always make sure your time spent with us is satisfactory no matter where I greet your smiling face!
