Dr. Shrum is a great dentist, I went in for a cleaning and he is so fun. I walked out with clean teeth and a smile on my face.

I have anxiety and it's difficult for me to go to the dentist. Sandy is wonderful, extremely kind and takes great care with me. Dr. Shrum does a great job with my teeth. He knows I have anxiety and does everything he can to put me at ease. I have referred many people to see him. His costs are reasonable and they make sure you know up front how much everything will cost before starting the work. I definitely would recommend him to anyone

I have been going here for over a decade! It has been some time since my last dental appointment but they always make me feel welcome and get me right back on track. I feel their prices are reasonable and they get me in and out.

I had a huge fear of getting one of my teeth removed, Dr. Shrum sat me down and explained to me everything that was going to happen. His price was cheaper than anywhere I had been before and he was AMAZING! He gave me shots while using the vibrating thing, and I could even FEEL IT! He is the best dentist I have ever been to and I would suggest him to ANYONE! Go here, you will feel safe and taken care of! Also his nurse is funny and nice, appointment setting is easy and mess free.

Was in the market to change dentists and went to visit with Dr. Shrum about some issues I was having. Found his practice to be very inviting and his practices where such that he makes the patient comfortable and explains procedures completely. Since my first visit I have had my dental issues resolved in a short amount of time with virtually no pain. Would recommend Dr. Shrum to anyone looking for a new dentist. His prices are also very good compared to my shopping around for procedures.

Great dentist very attentive and does his own work without depending on RDA's to do all the work. Very gentle and thoroughly explained everything. Reasonable prices and easy to get an appointment.

my husband sees hi.. we where on a vacation out of the US.. my husband had a bad tooth ache which we ended coming back sooner, so I called his office and same day we travelled back my husband saw him(which my husband wanted that tooth pulled) Dr.Shrum told him what was going on, Tooth was healthy but the nerve was dead with an infection.. ended up having a root canal.. tooth is good and my husband has no issues.. which it saved his tooth.. $$$money comes and goes and Dr.Shrum doesn't lie to your face just to get $$$ on my experience I had an abcess from a previous dental cavity and the other doctor always told me I was fine which I had the abscess for over one year. A very close friend recomended Dr. Shrum.. I went to see him, he told me at front with proof that my tooth was dead and I had a bad infecction, I lost a tooth(which I forgot to mention the other doctor wanted to do rooth canal with a cost of $900) and Dr Shrum really told me the truth that there was no point wasting money on a tooth that was dead and I would do fine without it.. HE IS AWESOME HE IS ALWAYS TO THE POINT...

Dr. Shrum is the best dentist I have ever had. I had poor dental health before going to see him, as I have issues with anxiety and gagging and avoided the dentist for several years. Dr. Shrum is patient, friendly, makes me feel comfortable despite my issues, and never fails to have some good stories to tell. His work has made my smile healthy again. I will go to him as long as I live in Nashville.

I went to see Dr Shrum in January 2017. I have to say that this was the worst experience I have ever had at any dentist office. The receptionist, which I later found out is the wife of the dentist, was rude and condescending. Dr Shrum was just as rude. He gave off a vibe that said "Good Morning, Sit down, don't ask me any questions so I can finish and you can get the hell on out of my office". It's like the patient is a bother to him. All I was having done is a cleaning. I knew going into this that I also would be needing a crown...... but there was no way I was going to allow him to do the work. This office provided me with the worst cleaning that I have ever had. After my visit to Dr Shrum, I immediately started looking for another dentist. When I found one, I called back to Dr Shrum's office to have my records sent over to my new dentist office. The receptionist was rude when I told her I would not be returning for future scheduled procedures. She had the nerve to ask me "Is there a problem??" I simply stated " Please forward my cleaning record to my new dentist please". She did forward those records without any problems and that is probably the best thing to come out of this whole ordeal. I would not recommend this dental practice to anyone.
