Who doesnt love a beautiful smile? Come to think of it, who doesnt love a smile, period! I feel very fortunate to work in an environment where people are smiling;and as a bonus, I get to participate in the creation of those smiles.
You dont need perfect teeth to smile, but perfect teeth can certainly enhance a smile. When your confidence to smile is increased through orthodontics, your smile becomes more authentic; you can see the difference not just in the teeth, but in the eyes. The eyes light up when someone is smiling confidently.
Of course, I didnt mind a little break from school now and then. The warm and friendly environment that my orthodontist created ignited a passion that inspired me to choose a career I love, and as a bonus, I also got straight teeth.
My practice philosophy stems from my experience when I went through orthodontic treatment. I want all patients that come to TC Orthodontics to feel relaxed and enjoy the experience ... perhaps even be inspired. My goal is to create an experience where our patients want to come to our office just to have fun. Maybe my staff and I will even see those eyes start to sparkle.
Dr. Chad Kelly was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in molecular biology, and the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During his final year at Tufts, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.
Dr. Kelly completed his formal dental training at New York University. After a two-year residency, he was awarded an orthodontic specialty certificate in 2000. He has been in the private practice of orthodontics in the Twin Cities since 2000 and has had the joy and honor of creating thousands of beautiful smiles. Dr. Kelly is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Kelly founded TC Orthodontics in 2012.
Dr. Rachel attended the University of Minnesota for her undergraduate education. She remained at the Univeristy of Minnesota to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and specialty training in orthodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and regularly attends continuing education courses to expand her orthodontic knowledge.
Dr. Rachel grew up in Grand Rapids, MN and loves to spend time with family in northern Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, baking, traveling with her husband, and taking her dog, Kira, on walks.
Dr. Bachour completed her undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude with highest distinction. She went on to earn her dental degree at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors. While at Harvard, she was involved in research and has published and presented her work internationally. She was recognized by the Harvard Odontological Society for her achievements.
Dr. Bachour returned to the University of Minnesota to complete her specialty training in Orthodontics and receive her Master of Science degree. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and stays current on the newest innovations in orthodontics. She regularly participates in continuing education and is a member of various professional societies.
Dr. Bachour grew up in the Twin Cities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active outdoors, and checking out local restaurants! She also loves reading, traveling, and snorkeling.
Dr. Alisa Madson grew up in the Twin Cities metro area. She attended the University of Minnesota at Morris and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She obtained her dental degree and completed an orthodontic residency there.

Dr Kemnitz & his staff are WONDERFUL! He is very thorough in his explanation of treatment and caring about the end result. The staff are so friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable as well. I would recommend anyone looking for ortho treatment to see Dr Kemnitz!

We've been customers with Kemnitz Orthodontics for over 5 years. Hands down the most exceptional orthodontic office I've experienced. Their front desk staff is so great at accommodating our schedule. The orthodontist were patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The lobby is warm and inviting. One thing that always stood out was that they had a big puzzle table and everyone would find a piece or two of the puzzle before their appt time. This place made us feel like family, and it will be hard not seeing them every month. Thank you for making this experience fun comfortable.

They are wonderful! My braces have been off for six years and they still feel great! I went in today as my retainer needed repair and not only was it quick, but they remembered me from years ago. Everyone there is so nice as well. They had shown me my pictures before braces and man, I am lucky to have the smile I do now. Thank you Kemnitz!!

For a very long time I have been looking for an orthodontist until one day one of my co worker told me how Dr. Kemnitz changed her smile. I decided to give it a try and believe me I can see the difference already. I can't wait to see my teeth at the end of treatment . If you are looking for an orthodontist he is your guy.

Dr. Kemnitz and his team have been wonderful to work with. From the initial consult through adjustments our experience has been great. They treat my daughter so well when she is there. They are engaging and informative and we are seeing her progress really well. Just two more months until one kid is done with braces. We will be coming back for kid #2 as soon as she is ready. I just started the process of using Invisalign at Kemnitz Orthodontist, and have had a very positive experience. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Kemnitz takes time to listen and consult with his patients. I highly recommend this place!
