The staff at Squaw Grove Dental has been providing comprehensive dental care in the greater Hinckley area since 1994. The name of the practice is derived from Squaw Grove Township, which originated in the 1830s. An early settler in the area found a grove of trees west of present day Hinckley, where Native American women were tending to their settlement.

Dr. Barnhart completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1979. He continued on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1983 at Northwestern University in Illinois. Dr. Barnhart practiced dentistry in the Chicago area until establishing SQUAW GROVE DENTAL in 1994.

Dr. Barnhart is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Fox River Valley Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and is a member of the Hinckley Business Association. He attends continuing education classes to keep up with the current techniques and procedures, and enjoysthe restoration of dental implants.

Dr. Barnhart grew up in Rochester, Michigan and relocated to Yorkville, IL where he currently resides with his wife Melissa. Keith and Melissa have two children, Lizzie and Claire. They are blessed with two grandchildren, Hayden and Grace. In his free time he enjoys his hobbies: running, skiing, snowboarding and working outdoors. He also enjoys spending time at his cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

Jeanene completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene atMarquette University in Milwaukee, WI,1986. She is CPR/AED certified. Jeanene attends numerous continuing education courses in the dental field in order to remain current.

Vicky graduated from Illinois Central College in 2006 earning her degree in Dental Hygiene. She is CPR/AED certified. Vicky attends numerous continuing education courses in the dental field in order to remain current.
