With 25 years of experience, Dr. Wada and her team have developed a high level of collaboration with a dental and medical team. Dr. Wada received her undergraduate degree from Smith College and her dental degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Dentistry. After completing her dental residency, Dr. Wada moved back to her hometown to practice dentistry, where she has continued to grow and develop her practice for over 20 years.
Born and raised in Gig Harbor, Dr. Wada has a dedication to the South Sound. Her father is a retired physician who practiced for over 35 years at Tacoma General Hospital, and her mother, a retired teacher, started the Japanese language program at Charles Wright Academy and taught there for over 35 years. Dr. Keiko Wada attended local Gig Harbor schools and completed her high school education at Charles Wright Academy.
Dr. Keiko Wada continues to participate in several local and regional study clubs that enhance her experience and knowledge. In addition, Dr. Keiko Wada has been invited to be a visiting faculty member and mentor for Spear education, a highly-regarded dental institute focused on comprehensive dental education.
As the founder of Opalesque, Dr. Wada and her team complete continuing education in both clinical and administrative advancements to help patients receive optimal preventive and restorative dental care. She is proud to serve patients of all ages as your family's Gig Harbor dentist. Dr. Keiko Wada collaborates with other dental specialists and physicians to ensure treatment for adults and children are contiguous with the practices values. Dr. Wada maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association and other local dental associations.

The initial exam I received at this office was by far the most comprehensive I have ever had. Dr Wada and her entire team were friendly, informative, gentle and able to answer all my questions. While I understood I had some dental issues, I did not feel they were suggesting any unnecessary work or any unrealistic time frames. It was a very positive experience and I look forward to additional dentistry from them.

I had a great experience today meeting members of Dr. Wada's staff. They made me feel as though I have known them for years. They explained all the details as to what type of treatment I would be needing based on discussion and examination. I am now scheduled for a consultation visit in the days to come. The best in dentistry, from the front desk staff to my hygienist Natasha to Dr. Wada, they are all very competent, knowledgeable, friendly and gentle, all must-haves when choosing a dental office. We've been going there for nearly 20 years! They were great when the kids were little and still great for my husband and me. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

These folks are great. They are friendly, professional and always provide great care. Dr. Wada and her knowledgeable staff are the best. They are very gentle with us patients and take time to ease us into what could be a stressful experience. They inform us patients as to what the procedure they will be doing so we can ask questions if we have them. They are always friendly and want to "catch up" on our families and our adventures.

This was my first visit with Covid changes in place. I got my usual excellent care combined with obvious taking into account need for preventing infection. I also appreciated during the time the office was closed, the updates and recommendations for dental care.
