She completed her collegiate and research studies at Southern University A&M College, and her dental education and pediatric residency at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. In her residency, Dr. Beverly received extensive training in diagnosis, management, anesthesia, and special needs of all children ranging from routine care to full mouth rehabilitation. While at Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Beverly was awarded the Anne Elizabeth Bessie Delaney Scholarship. Also at Howard, she conducted research involving human oral cancer cells in which she was the recipient of many awards including first place at the Greater New York Dental Society Meeting. Dr. Beverly has rendered her services to various organization including The Links, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated and The Unicycling Society of Louisiana.
Dr. Beverly is the daughter of Roosevelt and Kattie Beverly. There are four sisters, Dr. Richelle Beverly, Dr. Katina Beverly, and Attorney Miesha Beverly. Dr. Kredenna Beverly, Katinas identical twin sister, is also a pediatric dentist at TWINkling Smiles of Baton Rouge. Dr. Beverly and her husband, an attorney and community activist, are the parents of two children. Dr. Beverly is excited and honored to be able to serve the children and community of Monroe.

All of our staff is Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certified, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient.
We promise to speak candidly with you about your childs dental health and treatment, and encourage you to ask questions. We will work with your child individually to help them understand the importance of good dental health, and the steps they can take at home to keep their smiles beautiful and healthy for a lifetime.
Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

I absolutely love Dr. Beverly and the staff! They are so kind and patient with my kids. My kids actually enjoy going to the dentist ever since we switched to her! I wish she saw adult patients too lol

Call someone else. It's NOT worth it. Like other reviewers, I also had a problem with the staff member ("office manager") that handles insurance. She lacked understanding of basic verification and in/out of network policies. I continued to work around it and only asked to hold my child's appointment for a 15 minutes so I could do my due diligence with insurance. She said she didn't understand, wouldn't listen to me, continued to interrupt me and pushed me to my limit. I've NEVER lost my cool with anyone over the phone but she pushed me over the edge. I disconnected the line to take a breather. (No one should ever be pushed like this over insurance verification.) I called back and she kept pushing me and not letting me speak until I lost my cool. Given that others have spent their time to complain about her here, someone should really work with her on basic customer service skills, like giving people who are calling in with a need, the opportunity to speak, listening skills and the ability to problems solve. I've ALWAYS been able to communicate easily with people, but I felt sick hanging up the phone when I had to resort to raising my voice. She degraded me as a mother and made it about herself when it should have been about getting my child in for a serious issue.

Dr. Katina Beverly and the staff is very nice. the only problem I have is it is too long of a wait because they schedule so many people at the same time which I don't understand why the doctors want me to be on time just to sit there and wait a long time
