Dr. Carson has been practicing airway focused dentistry since since 2005 when it was discovered that her oldest child had an airway issue and proper facial development was the answer. After graduating with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Dr. Carson attended the UCLA School of Dentistry. While there, she was presented with the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award and the Academy of General Dentistry Award. She earned her DDS honors in 2001, graduating cum laude, and served a general practice residency with the Veterans Administration in Sepulveda. Dr. Carson has four children and a mini golden doodle. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, biking, hiking and the outdoors. She is very passionate about spreading the knowledge of improved health through being able to breathe properly. Dr. Carson also has her fellowships in Neuromuscular & Physiological Dentistry, and Buteyko Breathing.

I feel very blessed to have a career that I truly love. As a dental hygienist here, I have the opportunity to work with so many awesome people, and the patients I see each day bring a unique aspect to my life. I enjoy educating my patients on the importance of oral health and the mind-body connection. When I help a patient define their oral health goals, and work with them until theyre met, I know Ive made a difference. I am happily married and I have two wonderful children. I love to spend my free time with my family, reading, and exercising.
I have been working in the dental field for the past ten years. Changing lives and building relationships with patients is the best reward of what I do. Im grateful to be a part of a great, hard working team of women. I have three kids and love to spend my free time with them.
My name is Kirsten and I am a dental hygienist. I have worked in dentistry since I was 17 and it truly is such a blessing to work alongside the team at Integrative Dental Arts. Along with practicing clinical dental hygiene, I teach part time at the UCLA School of Dentistry. What I enjoy most about being a dental hygienist is the ability to connect with people and share my knowledge of dentistry with them. Born and raised in Southern California, I love everything and anything outdoors. When Im not working you can find me in the Santa Monica Mountains hiking or spending time with my fianc and our sweet lab, Ari.
Today more than yesterday, what I do is so exciting, and I know I change lives every day. I started in the dental field when I was 18 and have now been in it for more than 30 years. I can honestly say that I love every day I come to work. When Im not at the office, I love spending time with my two children Rylea and Dylan, friends, and family. I love animals and the outdoors, camping at the beach, snowboarding, and hiking with my dogs. When I have free time, a good game of Texas Holdem never hurts! I love to raise money for rescue animals and feel very strong about adopting from shelters.
I received my license as an RDA in 1981 and joined this office in 1997. My favorite part of my job is being able to work with such incredible patients and amazing team members. I take the time to get to know my patients and know that Im making a difference in their lives. I assist Dr Carson with our neuromuscular, TMD, and sleep disorder cases, so the changes in our patients lives can be quite profound. I am married to a wonderful husband and I have three sons. All the boys have finished school and I am enjoying watching them start their own lives. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening, reading, and when time permits, traveling and skiing.

I'm nervous with dental work but feel secure with Dr Carson and her female staff. They're so kind and gentle, and they really listen to my concerns. Chronic illness destroyed my teeth. So I like the options of new therapies like ozone and platelet rich plasma--along with traditional top of the line dentistry. I simply cannot recommend them enough. Wonderful people. Wonderful practice.

I have always had an excellent experience. I've been using Carrie as my dental hygienist for years and I'm always so delighted to see her and everyone else in the office. If feels like a second home. Dr Carson is great I haven't worked really hard to help me with some sleep issues and TMJ Shoshana

Always a pleasure going to my appointments, staff is super friendly and so kind and so understanding. Dr. Carson always makes me feel better leaving than when I came in because she understands my concerns, especially with my tmj and sleep issues. The staff is so welcoming and super sweet!

Dr. Carson is one of the best. Her staff is top notch too. When you are there you not a pay check to them, you are an individual who needs to have a routine cleaning, x-rays, or fillings; and they care about you and your comfort level. The make sure they spend the time doing the job correctly and you leave with a smile on you face.

Excellent staff from the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave. Everyone is helpful, you never feel rushed, if you're someone who can't stand going to the dentist and you have some pain, you'll feel right at home here. My visit with Dr Carson was excellent as usual. Went for my regular teeth cleaning, and once again I chipped one of my veneers, and she fixed it and made it beautiful again. Staff is fantastic, friendly and they really care for their patients!
