Dr. Kari Woo is a native of Bellevue, WA and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She then earnedher Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry down in San Francisco, CA in 2008. She stayed down in the Bay Area practicing dentistry for a couple years following dental schoolbefore returning to her hometown here in the beautiful pacific northwest.
Dr. Woo consistently attends continuing education courses in order to stay current with the many advancements in techniques and technology. It is her goal to stay at the leading-edge of dentistry for the benefit of her patients. In addition, she reads many dental journals and participates in multiple study clubs with her mentors and colleagues. Dr. Woo is ACLS certified and is also a professional member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, and the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Woos personal interests include traveling, sporting events, trying new restaurants, and soaking ina stunning view. She also loves being out on the water, which we are so fortunate to have such incredible access to here in the greater Seattle area! When not working she spends as much time as possible with her family and friends. Dr. Woo is very close to her entire family, most of whom live nearby and get to see each other often.
Im lucky to be in a profession in which I get to combine so many of my passions. I am able to use my skills to help improve the smiles and health of so many people. At the same time, Im getting to know them personally as they become part of the family here at W Dentistry! Knowing I'm a part of helping others feel great about their health and their smile can be immensely rewarding. I lovehow dentistry has the potential to drastically improve the way people feel about themselves. I enjoy building lasting relationships with each patient and their family. Every patient brings their own energy and happiness to our office, and I love learning who they are. Hearing their stories and sharing laughter creates a great environment. I ensure a smooth flow in the practice, so our team is able to focus on our patients care. I handle our marketing and outreach and love telling people about the services we offer. I also work with patients to make financial arrangements and help them get the most from their insurance as well as coordinate scheduling for all of our patients.
Im originally from Alaska and love going back to visit with family. My husband Rich and I settled in Issaquah in 2001 and have two sons, Connor and Gavin. In my free time, I love being with my family including our 2 cats, Nellie and Tito as well as cooking and traveling.
Im a Washington native and received my Dental Hygiene degree fromYakima Community College. I have also been a dental hygienist in Australia where most of my family still resides. My husband Matthew and I have 2 lovely children, Hannah and Hunter, as well as our fluff ball Paha. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out, eating good food, and reading books.
I help our patients achieve their optimal oral health with thorough dental cleanings and education that is personalized to their individual needs and preferences. I love meeting new people and growing with my existing patients. I began working with Dr. Woos team in 2018, and love that we emphasize making the patient experience one where they feel welcome and encouraged.
I assist Dr. Woo chairside in her restorative and surgical procedures, working together to provide our patients with the best care and experience possible. I also help manage the supplies, materials, and any other clinical needs. At W Dentistry we are a team and each member is willing to help each other regardless of their position. Its a fun environment and we all get along well!

I went here for cleaning and the cleaning itself was amazing! Then they recommend doing 11 fillings in 3 appts. The first one went really well. The second one was so so. I had severe pain after it but it went away after follow up appt. The third one went terrible. I got pain and come back for 2 follow up appts and the pain was still there. Then they send me to another doctor. Eventually pain went away after 6 months.

All my family members are with Dr. Woo for over three years. There are a couple of things that keep us stay with her: 1. Professional hygienists - about 85% of the visit time are spent with hygienists, so good staff is important to the dental visits. Dr. Woo has a crew of experienced hygienists and she personally followed up with patients for feedback. 2. Network - because Dr. Woo has practiced long time in the area, her network is extensive. She recommended the orthodontist who provided an optimal treatment for my son. 3. Technology and Environment - equipment used in the clinic is new and up to date, the office is clean and spacious. 4. Flexible Scheduling - Tracy at the front desk is very helpful and responsible. She reminds me for every visit. She once helped me to reschedule three times and I appreciate her dedication. 5. Compassion and good listener - although Dr. Woo has the best knowledge than me, she still actively listen to my needs. I feel comfortable to discuss any of my concerns with her. Thank you, Dr. Woo!

I have been trying to find a dentist for years, since my long time dentist retired ten years ago. I gave up about 5 years ago looking. Dr. Woo was such a wonderful find! She is professional and personable. She and her assistants were thorough and fast. I finally found a dentist I can trust and stay with.

Dr. Kari Woo is by far the best dentist I've ever had. I don't think people commonly brag about their dentist, but I tell everyone I know how wonderful this office is. Kari is meticulous, thorough, and clearly a perfectionist. It always feels like she's using the best tools and latest technology. She also takes pictures and explains everything to you in a comprehensible way so you're completely knowledgable about what's happening in your mouth. You can tell she truly cares about the work she's doing. She has fixed prior work I've had done and resolved issues that had been bothering me for years, for which I am eternally grateful. In addition to Kari just being the best dentist ever, the entire office is so completely lovely. Tracy, the practice coordinator, is incredibly helpful. She goes above and beyond to work with my insurance, and answer all of my many questions. Jennifer, my regular hygienist, is incredibly warm and friendly and always remembers what's going on in my life. They give you blankets and neck rests and headphones (pre-COVID) and do their best to make it a relaxing experience which is essential when at the dentist. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. If I ever move I will continue to travel twice a year to keep seeing them.

I was impressed with W Dentistry from day one! The whole process is simple and streamlined and the staff are all wonderful, especially Tracy at the front desk. I was blown away by the technology they use and their office is just beautiful. I highly recommend W Dentistry if you're anywhere close to Issaquah!

Dr Woo and her staff are the best! I don't have great teeth and have had several treatments in various places in the past, none of which compare to the top-notch professional care and courtesy of Dr Woo. They are true to their words, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy, every visit. Highly recommended for your dental needs!

I'm always treated well, like a real human. They never make me feel bad for not flossing as often as I should. They take my apprehension regarding dental work seriously, and make sure I'm comfortable during procedures. They even let me listen to my own podcasts or music from my phone if I need a distraction. I'm offered blankets and a neck pillow at pretty much every visit.
