Dr. Kamer started her journey in health care by attending Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, where shereceived her BS in Nursing. Dr. Kamer expanded her nursing experiences and encompassed the areas of surgical intensive care, coronary care, surgery and recovery room. She held the position of head recovery room nurse for 5 years. Dr. Kamer returned to graduate studies in 1986 at the University of Louisville, and earned her DMD in 1991. During dental studies, Dr. Kamer was on the Dean's list and conducted student research in the area of digital imaging in endodontics. The University of Louisville was the first dental school in the U.S. to have digital radiographic imagery, the RVG system from France invented by Dr. Francis Mouyen.
Dr. Kamer was accepted into the endodontic program at the prestigious Baltimore College of Dental Surgery/ University of Maryland Dental School, which holds the distinction of being the first dental school in the world. Dr. Kamer graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Maryland, was inducted into the esteemed honor society 'Phi Kappa Phi,' and received her certificate in endodontics in 1993. Dr. Kamer completed post graduate studies under the direction of Dr. Eric Hovland and Dr. Tom Dumsha, noted for their publication, 'Problem Solving in Endodontics' and worldwide lecture on dental traumatology. Dr. Kamer also received a postgraduate research grant from the AAE for her work on storage media for avulsed teeth. Her work was presented at the scientific session of the AAE. She was fortunate to have rotations during her residency at the NIH, CDC, and Bethesda Naval Center. She served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Endodontics from 1993-1994.
Dr. Kamer joined Dr. Mellin, a Harvard graduate, as an associate endodontist in Portland, Maine while her husband was completing his residency. Upon the completion of his residency in 1995, they moved to Nashville, Tennessee where Dr. Kamer was in private practice for 12 years. In 2005, they were blessed with twin boys and moved to Indianapolis to be closer to family. Dr. Kamer choose to establish her Indianapolis practice in an area that is conveniently located to downtown, north, south, east and the west side, to make it an trip easy from work or home. Dr. Kamer is AAE Board Eligible, ACLS Certified and a member of the AAE, AAFE, ADA, IDS and the IDDS.
When Dr. Kamer is not caring for her patients she enjoys spending time with her twin boys and attending their many activities. She even manages to find a little time for some of her favorite interests; fitness training, interior design, decorating and gardening.

I've been a patient of the Kamer's and Absolute Endo for close to eight years now. Anytime I have EVER had a problem in my mouth that a denist couldn't fix, I turn to them. They work with me telling me whats wrong. And their battle plan to fix it! Truely caring 100%! They go above and beyond their way to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. Because i xan handle any type of pain. Except mouth pain! They help me before, during, and after ALL of my procedures they have ever worked on. To me they are AWESOMENESS!! They were fantastic! From the appointment setting to the end procedure, the staff and doctors were so kind and courteous. I hardly felt a thing through my root canal. They were very consciousness of my comfort, even little things like putting lip moisturizer on the moment my lips became dry.

Wow!! This place is GREAT!!! Atmosphere & cleanliness are amazing. The receptionist & the dental assistant are knowledgeable & kind. Both the Docs. are personable and care about your well being. NO PAIN! They rub pain killer on gums before the shot & its a slow push. Not a mad house getem in getem out like most places today. I'm from Ft. Wayne,IN. & will make the 2hr trip again just for a cleaning.

I was in an emergency situation where I had to get a same day root canal because I will be moving out of state in the next week. I called around to other endo places in my network and no one could take me or even put me on a cancellation list. I called Dr. Kamer's office and the receptionist was so kind and warm. She sympathized with my situation and said Dr. Kamer could see me today! I was so relieved. The office environment is calming, bright, and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and kind. I hate dental work and was very nervous about getting a root canal. They were a great team and Dr. Kamer helped me feel reassured and comfortable. The procedure was fast and efficient. If you're looking for a great endodontist, don't pass up Dr. Kamer. She and her staff were amazing!

I loathe having any teeth work done but I had a really fabulous experience. The whole team from start to finish were so caring and thoughtful. Very clean office area. Coffee and comfy seats to relax in while waiting. Outside balcony area with seating. Very thorough and I enjoyed Dr. Kamer explaining what she was going to do and how everything was going to work. Really lessens the anxiety. Overall great experience. And military insurance friendly!! Thank you guys!

What an awesome place! Extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming environment with gorgeous interior design, one of a kind views from their balcony overlooking the north side of broad ripple and college avenue, and the doctors couldn't be more friendly, inviting and committed to their craft. I'm so glad I decided to go with a smaller local endodontist rather than a larger more widely known practice. I hate dental work but they definitely did their best to help me through it!

Drs. Kramer & Dubois of Absolute Endodontics were exceptional- before, during and after my treatment. Had a root canal done, and apart from the initial numbing (needles are not a fave), the experience was pain free. This office decor exudes warmth and is very inviting. Dr. Kramer is also warm and reassuring as well. The whole team- Donna & Elaine and the doctors were great! You would do no wrong to visit this dental clinic for your dental needs (endodontics). Verdict: YES! :)

Had a root canal this morning (5/11/22), and it was a great experience. The office is very warm and welcoming which creates calmness. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful in prepping you for the procedure and taking care of the paper work and Dr Kamer is fantastic. I had zero pain and she took extreme care to make sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Kamer to anyone. I hope I don't need to come back, but if I do, I won't hesitate to return.

Dr. K and Dr. D we're so awesome! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and extremely down to earth. I recently moved to Indy (early May 2022) and My teeth were in excruciating pain my first few days here. I was referred to them by my dentist to get emergency root canals done and they took care of me the next day! I was in soooooo much pain so they did two root canals that day and the third a few days later. My pain was alleviated after the first day and felt amazing after the most recent one. Being a Marine, I was worried TriCare wouldn't cover it but they accepted TriCare and my procedures were taken care of in full! Her dental assistant and receptionist were extremely helpful and courteous as well. Being new to the area, they really made me feel like family and were very supportive of the military. Dr. K is THE person to go to!

I am very happy to have found Dr Kramer and Absolute Endodontics. The office is pleasant and professional. Drs Kramer and DuBois are both excellent. No one likes root canals, but overall, I had a positive experience. I highly recommend Absolute Endodontics.

I went for a root canal, my first ever and I was terrified. I was very emotional, but everyone in this office was understanding and AMAZING. I was well taken care of, and they took care of all my needs. I know I was a difficult patient, they took care of my pain and calmed my emotions and nerves. The administrator (I feel so bad I forget her name), Elenor, and Dr. Kamer were the best. I couldn't have asked for better people. They truly care and go above and beyond. I even received a call the next day to check in make sure I was okay and to see if I had any questions. I can't thank these women enough. GO HERE! You won't regret it.
