Riviera Dental was founded in 1985. It was acquired by Dr John C G Reynolds in1987. After 25 years of practice Dr Reynolds retired after selling the practice to Dr Karen Reid, his associate of five years (2005-2010).
The number one priority at Riviera Dental has long been to provide the highest quality dental care to our patient in a caring and comfortable atmosphere. In striving to incorporate the latest dental technology, our treatment rooms are equipped with computer monitors, digital radiography (less radiation) and intraoral camera with advance caries detection.
Riviera Dental has and will continue to make a difference in the community; from health fairs, to local churhes and schools we will strive to help and to educate the community about the benefits of good oral health.
A graduate of University of Florida withher Bachelor of Science as well as her Doctor of Dental Medicine.Dr. Karen C. Reid is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Florida Dental Association (FDA).
Dr. Adkins was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Davie, Florida. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Florida in 2008 and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2014 from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Adkins is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the National Dental Association (NDA), as well as the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He enjoys engaging with his patients in their dental treatment. He focuses on educating patients about their dental health as well as increasing patients comfort in the dental setting.
Riviera Dental provides quality dental care to patients of all ages and background. Our staff is culturally diverse representing seven different countries and four languages. The diversity is vastly reflected in our patient population. We offer a wide range of dental services, including preventative , restorative and cosmetic dentistry. 5 Star! Hands down, she's the best dentist in town! Dr. Reid and her staff are very professional, caring, kind and thoughtful. She is an excellent dentist! I suffer from heightened anxiety levels when it comes to going to the dentist and with every appointment, the staff has been very patient, understanding, accommodating in caring for my needs. I don't have dental insurance, just an annual prepaid dental plan, and the pricing for the services provided is very reasonable. They also offer several payment options for just about every budget. They are highly recommened and I encourage you to schedule your first your appointment. You won't be disappointed.

She is good but the wait time is ridiculous every time I take my boys it's over a 2 hour wait just to be seen I'm in the process to find another dentist

I have been going to this dental office when in need since 1990 or 1991 with Dr Reynolds and thereafter with Dr Reid. I don't think I am exaggerating, very splendid service and personal care also was extended to me when I was emotional about the loss of my mother. They comforted me. My cap bridge broke and loving they took me in took care of the matter. 5 Yellow Stars !

Wonderful dental clinic located on Federal Highway between Riviera Beach and Lake Park. Enjoyed a positive experience at Riviera Dental. The clinic staff and hygienists are professional. Dr. Karen Reed is amazing and can be trusted in her diagnosis.

I am generally TERRIFIED of the dentist; I experience severe anxiety at the mere thought of having to see a dentist. Out of a dental 'emergency', I reluctantly made an appointment to see Dr. Reid. WHAT A BLESSING! Her entire team is kind, responsive, patient and understanding. Dr. Reid is very professional and NICE! She handled my nervousness with compassion and patience. The dental assistant was fantastic as well. Great experience. Thank you, Dr. Reid and Team...you're all fabulous!

Normally when I go in here and have to get my mouth numb I feel the whole entire process of the needle and EVERY dentist I've ever been too. But the one male dr here took his time. I didn't feel theneedle go in or the anesthesia when it went in. I would absolutely recommend this dr to everyone whom is scared of needles or to the ones who doesn't have very high tolerance for pain. But other then the that. All of the staff at this location is EXTREMELY NICE. And waits do not Take forever like most dentist office.
