There is no place like home, as Dr. Kaitlyn Anderson Spencer, a native of Ayden, well knows. When Dr. Spencer and her husband, Trevor, both graduates of D.H. Conley High School, married in 2015, they knew that they would return to the place they loved to pursue their passion for serving others. For Trevor, that passion includes coaching baseball and football at his alma mater and teaching English.
Dr. Spencer, also an athlete, played volleyball all four years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was voted team captain her senior year. After graduating with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in chemistry, Dr. Spencer received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from East Carolina University, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following graduation in 2018, she received a coveted acceptance to the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center where she received further training in implant dentistry. She has also been working part-time at Harvey & Associates Family Dentistry in Kinston.
In her spare time, Dr. Spencer enjoys spending time with their son Cutler, watching her husband coach, cheering on the Tar Heels, and occasionally assisting her mom, Sandy, at Longstraw Farms in Ayden, NC. Dr. Spencer is excited to be able to serve her community with the most advanced dental technologies, and as we welcome her back home, she wants to invite the community to her new dental home, Beacon Dental.
Stephanie has been practicing as a dental hygienist since 2006. She was born and raised in Goldsboro. She has dreamed of working in the dental field since she was a little girl. Dentistry and serving others are her passion. Stephanies goal as a dental hygienist is to offer the most comfortable and caring dental experience possible. You will always be treated like family! Stephanie is married to her husband Kevin who she shares three daughters and a grandson with. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being active in her church.
Emily graduated from Wayne Community College in 2020. She grew up in Greenville, NC. Emily is very dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all her patients feel comfortable and leave her chair loving their smile. You will find that she is compassionate, able to put her patients at ease, and ensures a positive dental experience. When she is not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog, M.J.
Bailee is our head dental assistant. Bailee graduated from Wayne Community College in 2016 with a degree in dental assisting. She received the Patient Care Award while in the Dental Assisting Program. She grew up in Goldsboro, NC. Bailee is passionate about assuring that our patients receive the best care possible, as well as informing patients about their dental health needs. When she is not assisting patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chandler and their two dogs, Cupid and Cali.
Dallas has been a dental assistant with our office since 2020. She graduated from Wayne Community College with a degree in dental assisting. She was born in Houston Texas but spent most of her life in the small town of Vanceboro, NC. She enjoys taking care of patients and ensuring that their visit with our office is a welcoming and memorable experience. Dallas is passionate about helping people and changing lives one smile at a time.
Heather graduated from Dental Assisting School in 2005 and became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2008. She has worked in the dental setting for over 15 years as an assistant and at the front desk. She has a passion and dedication for the dental field, always looking to expand her knowledge while learning all new aspects. More than anything, she makes sure patients are comfortable, happy, and leave with a smile! She is always here to help whenever the dental team needs anything. Outside of work, Heather is blessed to enjoy making memories alongside her other half, Frankie, and two sweet children, Justin and Aj.
