Born and raised in Cambridge, Ohio, Dr. Julie A. Pruneski grew to love northeastern Ohio through her years of undergraduate studies at John Carroll University where she graduated cum laude with a dual biology and chemistry degree. She went on to earn her dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating cum laude. Following graduation, Dr. Julie was accepted as one of three teaching interns at Ohio States Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. During this year long program, Dr. Julie gained experience with advanced oral surgery procedures. Dr. Julie has been proudly providinggeneral dental servicesto her patients ever since and loves being part of the team at Whispering Pines Dental.
Dr. Julie is enjoying living in the Lakewood/Cleveland area with her husband Nathan, parrots Dewey and Roscoe and Goose the poodle. They welcomed their first child, Walton Earl recently! In their free time, Dr. Julie and Nathan enjoy spending time together at home with the baby and golfing, biking, working out and traveling.
Jarrod EFDA Jarrod is so excited to be a part of the Whispering Pines Dental team! He joins us having 13 years of experience in the field. After graduating Amherst Marion L. Steele High School, Jarrod went on to further his education at Case Western Reserve University earning his EFDA title in 2005. Being an EFDA, or expanded function dental auxiliary, allows Jarrod to do advanced procedures such as placing restorations for our patients. Jarrod is a lifelong sports fan. When he is not rooting for his home teams- Browns, Cavs, Tribe- he is participating on many teams ranging from basketball to softball to bowling. Jarrod is also a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife Laura- an RN at Mercy Hospital- and their German Shepherd Sheba and cat Nemo. Jarrod is looking forward to meeting all of you!
Sherrie works as a Registered Dental Hygienist. A graduate from Lorain County Community College with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene, she has over 18 years of dental experience and continues to have a passion for dentistry. She takes great pride in working with the staff and clients in maintaining their oral health. It gives her great pleasure to be a part of a team who has such respect and a caring nature towards our patients. In addition to her dental family she is mom to three daughters. In her free time, she enjoy movies, cooking, scrapbooking, and spending time with her girls.
A 2002 graduate of LCCCs Dental Hygiene Program, Rebekah comes to Whispering Pines Dental with nearly 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. She is so thankful to be a part of such a skilled, compassionate, and positive dental team! Rebekah enjoys building rapport with her patients and helping them feel comfortable while providing thorough, gentle care. When not in the dental office, she looks forward to spending time with her husband and their 3 children, whether at home with their rescue dog, cat, and chickens or traveling somewhere new.
April graduated from Lorain County Community College with an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. April is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. She has been with Whispering Pines Dental since 2018. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Travis, and their two daughters.
Lisa is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a graduate of Tri-C and has 30 years experience in the dental field. She loves being a part of the the dental team. She is a mom to four daughters and a pet mom to 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time she enjoys binge watching Netflix and cooking.
