  • Received several referrals for Dr Quintero after my previous dental office was consumed by an indifferent corporate entity. I love this office! The staff are ALL very friendly. My hygienist is very sweet and gentle. Dr Quintero is very nice, professional, and spends time with you. There are no high-pressure sales tactics here and no 'treatment' plans that you don 't need. My entire family goes here now and have referred several other people at work. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Quintero to anyone. Kellie S.

  • The office staff is extremely professional and caring. My experience here was very good. I arrived a few minutes early and was checked in right away. The waiting room was exceptionally clean. Soft ambient lighting, recessed lights, marble floors, and comfortable seating. My X-rays were taken quickly and comfortably. Kasandra B.

I attended this practice for over 5 years, my most recent exam being July 5, 2022. I have never had any issues until I went back in to address a concern I had. Dr. Quintero continued to cut me off while speaking, raise his voice at me, and talk down to me, all while visibly shaking with anger, before suggesting I take my medical records elsewhere and insulting the appearance of my teeth (As if they would not be a reflection of his work over the past 5 or so years?) His reception staff was absolutely amazing in deescalating a doctor that they clearly communicated struggles with bed side manner, before providing me all of my medical records. If you need routine cleanings perhaps he's your guy! Just don't expect him to actually look at your x-rays or handle any form of dissenting concern! My new dentist was able to address all of my concerns and do so comfortably with a positive attitude! I am very much relieved to be out of this practice!

Absolutely amazing Dentist! I have to admit I was a bit hesitant about going to the dentist. I had a major fear. Dr Quintero was warm and welcoming. He took the time to explain to me everything he was doing and why. In addition, his staff was amazing. I cant say enough about this office.

(Translated by Google) A complete scam. If you dont pay attention to what they do to you they charge you for things they dont put on you. My insurance covered metal, porcelain / ceramic crowns, and they told me they didnt work with those materials, only Zirconia. The day they put the crown it broke on the first bite attempt (while I was still at the dentist office), when I asked the dentist what material was it made because it broke so easily, he told me CERAMIC / PORCELAIN, a material that my insurance covered, when I let him know that they were charging me for Zirconia he got upset and told me that the issue was my bite. Dont waste your money and time going there. A complete fraud. If you don't pay attention to what they say they do to you, they charge you for things that they don't put on you.

I am a firm believer, if I have a choice to choose a dentist who graduated from the University of Florida (@UF), just from first hand knowledge that graduates from UF's Dental school are masterfully trained technicians and that I can attribute to Dr. Juan Quintero skills as a superb and compassionate dentist, and not one of those money hungry charlatans that have hung out their shingles. I have been with Dr. Quintero for the better part of 20 years, and definitely a no shark zone, a but as the complications from diabetes deteriorated my gums, I had to find alternate dental care. However, during this period, I had three crowns done by Dr. Quintero and was referred his colleague, another UF graduate, Dr. Craig Roth, whose endodontist's office is located in the Village of Pinecrest where you can smell the sharks miles away and that should have been a big red flag. I was surprised that Dr. Shapiro did not have other root canal specialist in his Rolodex, that were in line with his poorer clients. Anyway, long story short, at the time, I had 3 root canals done over a period of 5 years costing over $4200 ($6000 without insurance) and over $100 for five minutes consultation fees each, which was offsetted if he did the procedure. Suffice it to say, I was under the impression that a root canal would last forever, since I still have one in that's almost 30 years old. Unfortunately, after about 3 years one of the tooth that Dr Roth did, got infected. Anyway, I went back to Dr. Roth he gave me a dosage of antibiotics without refills and told me that it would cost $3000 to go into the tooth and fix it. I paid the $100 plus consultation fee and never looked back. That said, I returned to Dr. Quintero and explained my poverty plight and asked him outright if he would spend $3000 on a tooth that already cost almost $2000, and he unequivocally said 'no' of course, in his financial position he would have done an implant at the get go. I thank him for his honesty and filled the prescription. The infected tooth lasted another six to seven years before it was extracted this August. Lesson learnt, everyone should sack away a rainy day fund for inevitable dental bills, probably the most expensive self mortgage that you will incur. After all you must chew food, and most importantly, people freak out at the sight of one's missing tooth. Besides, no one will employ you, hence, what choice do we have as captives?

I have been a patient of Dr. Quintero for almost 20 years. He's a great dentist. Gentle, professional, without pressure to do unnecessary work. Just wish he had weekend hours.

The doctor was great, it was his staff that does not know how to communicate properly. They charged me $350 for ONE cavity filling and did not explain why. They did not ask me any questions or explain anything. Now I'm at a new dentist where I got charged $270 for THREE fillings. Definitely don't recommend this place since they like to overcharge without reason.
