The Douglasville Family Dental Center has had the joy of growing, maturing, and changing with its local community over the last thirty years and the unique privilege of simultaneously serving our long time patients, their children, and often now their grandchildren too.
What makes the Douglasville Family Dental Center unique among the dental practices that have recently come to our community is our family dynamic - we are a family practice that serves families and loves our community. We do not rotate doctors who only know you only by chart number and simply see you as a part of a business model. Rather, our doctors see you as real people that they want to know, help, and provide excellence in their care of both for you and your loved ones
Dr. McIntire joined the family practice after graduating from the Medical College of Georgia in 2001 and in addition to providing excellent dental care he also serves as an adjunct professor at the local Dental Hygiene School. Dr. McIntire provides the practice areas of additional specializations in TMJ treatment and Invisalign services. Dr. McIntire is also a longtime member of the community where he serves as an Elder at Grace Presbyterian Church, teacher, and sports coach.
Dr. Crowe, a graduate of Emory University's Dental School, class of 1979, has been serving the Douglasville community for over thirty years and provides patients with the stability and maturity that comes with decades of experience, training, and progress. Dr. Crowe has also been a faithful member of the community as a member of Pray's Mill Baptist Church, sports coach, and business owner and longtime resident.
The Douglasville Family Dental Center has been very fortunate to have a strong team of Hygienists who participate in our preventative dental care and Assistants who work directly with the Dentists in the restorative and cosmetic dental care

Do yourself a favor and go to a real dentist that actually accepts dental insurance. Literally out of network for every insurance. Pathetic.

This is a dentist that I never forgot. He was a referral for a consultation on my teeth that had shifted. He was very informative and made me comfortable. Best DMD, I seen in a while. I just wish I knew where the new office is located. I want him to do my repairs and treatment.

The dentist was awesome!! But the receptionist was unprofessional and rude!! I called to make an appointment and was giving some false information by a receptionist three days before my visit. While on the phone with the guy receptionist explained my situation and so on.He told me that it was totally fine and that once I came in I would be able to set up a payment planned. So once I arrived at the facility I filled out the forms waited a min then was called to the back by the nurse assistant by the way who was very professional(Sherrie). Ok so I'm sitting in the chair she asked me to explain what was going on with me and I did. So she took x-rays then afterwards the doctor came in explained everything asked me what I wanted to do we agreed and then began the procedure . As I'm sitting there waiting to get the second dose of numbing medicine the rude receptionist comes in and say that I have to pay this certain amount. So I'm sitting there in shock due to the fact that non of it was explained to me before we started the process. I explained to her that I didn't have the amount and asked could I set up a payment planned she told me no that they didn't offer that. I asked to see my paperwork which clearly stated that "uninsured patients would have to pay the full amount UNLESS they negotiate with the staff member. She could never explained to me what that meant she went all around the question and told me once again that they didn't offer it!! I told her I didn't have the money and left.

I trust Dr Josh. If I have a question or concern, he is polite, funny and explains dental science stuff in a way that is understandable. You can tell he loves his work. I will always recommend Dr McIntire and will even travel long distance to take my family to see him. You won't be disappointed
