Dr. Jocie Weeden grew up in Hillsdale, Michigan. She attended Boston University initially, but received her Bachelors Degree in sociology from the University of Michigan. Her Doctor of Dental Surgery and her Masters in Orthodontics were obtained at the University of Michigan as well. Dr. Weeden is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in the Graduate Orthodontic Department. She is also involved in many professional oriented activities and is the past president and past editor for the Michigan Association of Orthodontists. She served for many years on the Great Lakes Orthodontic Association Board and was President in 2018. Dr. Weeden is currently a Delegate for the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Weeden lives in Saline and has four children: Elizabeth, Nathan, Katherine, and Victoria. She enjoys traveling, reading, running, and biking.

Barb is a Registered Dental Assistant who has worked in orthodontics since 1990, and joined Dr. Weeden when she started practicing in Adrian in 1999. She graduated from Ferris State University in 1986 with an Associates Degree in Dental Assisting. Barbs responsibilities include all clinical procedures, fabricating some of our appliances and daily statistics which are used to help us improve our service in the clinic. In addition, she is our clinic coordinator. She keeps everyone headed in the right direction. Barb resides in Manitou Beach with her husband, Matt. Her youngest son Connor lives in Adrian with his fiance. Her oldest son Jaron and his wife reside in South Lyon with their two young sons. In her leisure time Barb enjoys golfing, running, watching MSU football, Detroit Tigers, and spinning.

Corryis our treatment coordinator. Corry is a native of the New York City Metropolitan area. She graduated from Fordham University in the Bronx, NY with her Bachelors degree. She joined our team in 2012. She familiarizes new patients with our office, gathers information about them, and works with Dr. Weeden throughout the initial examination and coordinates the start of treatment. She also facilitates communication with other dental offices regarding various dental procedures needed by our patients. Corry has her radiology certification. She loves helping our patients and will answer any questions you may have. Corrys daughter, Madison, attends Madison Public Schools. Corry enjoys spending time with her family, CrossFit and rooting for The New York Yankees and The New York Rangers.

Angela became part of our team in January 2004. She had several years of experience as a general dental assistant before joining our team. She graduated from Adrian High School, attended the Lenawee Vo-Tech Dental Aide program, and later completed the Dental Assisting program at Washtenaw Community College. She earned her Registered Dental Assistant degree in February 2007 from Washtenaw Community College. Her responsibilities include all clinical procedures, fabricating models, making various appliances, and running our in-house lab. Angela lives in Adrian with her husband and their four children. In her leisure time, she enjoys running, walking and watching her kids sports.

I have lived with my husband and two boys in Adrian for over 17 years and worked for Dr. Weeden for 15 of them. I think Adrian Orthodontics is a great orthodontic office. We all have worked together for many years. We are like family.

You will find me in the clinic as Im a registered dental assistant. On my time off of work, you will find me casually running throughout Lenawee County along the various trails. I really enjoy nature and love to garden at St. John Lutheran Churchs Garden of Eatn during spring, summer, and fall.

Remember: Crunchy, chewy, sticky, gooey foods can damage your braces and lengthen treatment time. AND, your help and cooperation in following your doctors instructions about what to eat and how to keep your braces in good shape lead to great results!

Other less severe situations may be alleviated at home until they are seen the next business day, but if you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to call. Some of these may be a loose band or bracket, a poking wire, or a missing elastic or metal tie.
