I don't know which dentist I saw yesterday at the Leonardtown office. Previously I had met young Dr Luke at Lusby, this Dr didn't introduce himself. Granted this was a "get the tooth pulled before chemo starts again" job, I would've liked a little more introduction. After he prodded in my mouth and did the novocaine shots I got lectured on the plaque building up on my bottom row of teeth. I had had my first cleaning in 5 years about 2 months before. I got lectured. I am 53 years old fighting stage 4 cancer, I'm fortunate to have the teeth I do. Which if I had been given the proper chance I would've been able to say during that 5 years I have only lost one other tooth. The state of my teeth, even before cancer, is due to an inherited family condition (as confirmed by my cousin a DDS who has researched this issue). After the tooth was pulled was another litany of questions. With a mouth full of gauze I could do little more than gag and try to explain the chemo treatment plan. I like young Luke are Lusby. I don't know who I saw yesterday, but I'm don't want to see him again. The last thing a stage 4 patient needs to hear, is "take better care of your teeth". Yes. Because fighting for mere survival from colo rectal cancer isn't enough.

Ver personable friendly, spend time explaining exactly what the next step would be. Spent more time with me explaining my needs the my previous dentist spent the last 20 years I've been a patient. Highly recommend.

Dr Luke and his staff are very good, best i have been to.I would rate them a 5 star. There staff are great. The lady that cleans my teeth does a awesome job and it does not hurt .

Dr Luke is an excellent prosthodontist. The staff and office personnel are always very friendly. I highly recommend them for all dental needs

Nobody likes the dentist but eventually we all have to go. When it's that time for you go to Dr Luke in Leonardtown. Both my husband and I are patients and have had, over the years, fillings, extractions, crowns, partial dentures and full dentures. That's a lot but then we are getting up in.years, however, it does make us experts in dental care. Dr Luke and his staff are professional in every way. Kind, courteus understanding, gentle and thorough but most of all experts in all dental care.

I have had two appointments with the Leonardtown office and have had great experience. I have had an extraction and a filling. They are very friendly and great at communicating what they are going to do before they start. Very happy to have found this dentist office

Dr Luke has been dentist for over 23 years. He is an excellent dentist! His staff is very friendly and professional! I highly recommend Dr Luke!!

I didn't think a good (or great) dental experience was possible before coming to this practice. I recently moved to the area and Dr. Luke came highly recommended from my grandmother and both of my parents. The staff members were pleasant, warm and affable. Also, very competent! Dr. Luke took the time to answer my extensive questions about wisdom tooth extraction. They made sure I was comfortable during the procedures, letting me listen to music with my noise-cancellation headphones. I highly recommend this practice.
