Over the years, we have continued to provide oral surgery care that the people of Central Illinois can depend upon. Today, we have two offices located in Springfield and Decatur, and we look forward to exceeding the expectations of our patients and referral network by providing truly outstanding care.

We take the time to get to know you and your treatment goals, and we work hard to ensure you are well informed and completely relaxed during all steps of the process. All of our doctors are board-certified, which means they uphold the highest standards of patient care and techniques in dentistry. Our doctors also regularly continue to learn and implement new techniques and technologies so that our patients can benefit from this.

All of the doctors at Oral & Facial Surgeons of Illinois are board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). To achieve this honorable certification status, a doctor must complete a rigorous peer evaluation process as well as fulfill all of the educational requirements and demonstrate high standards of patient care and continuing advancement in the field of oral surgery. Our team of doctors are driven by the patient experience, and we look forward to caring for you and your loved ones.

The members of our team have a passion for providing fantastic patient care. We value the patient experience, and we are always happy to answer questions, help with financial or insurance concerns, or educate patients about their procedure options.

Our Springfield office is located in the heart of Illinois, and were honored to have begun our practices roots in our states capital. Known as the home of President Abraham Lincoln, Springfield is Central Illinois hub of historical attractions, and our practice is your destination for dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, facial trauma treatment, and more.

If youre interested in hunting, beautiful landscapes, and tons of recreational opportunities, Decatur is the place to be! Our Decatur office is located just off of I-72 and N Water St and is ideal for patients looking for dental implants, full-arch restoration, wisdom teeth removal, and more.

Dr. Fischer was always interested in science and art and felt that oral surgery was a good mix of the two. He was the first in his family to go to college, and he had several great mentors there who encouraged him to pursue oral surgery. After experiencing the many dental specialties during dental school, he felt that oral surgery was indeed a good fit.

Dr. Fischer enjoys the artistry of creating a harmonized face, smile, and bite for patients. He loves being able to solve patients problems and offers in-depth explanations to help patients feel as informed and comfortable as possible during treatment. Dr. Fischer practices in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on implant surgery, orthognathic/corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and office anesthesia.

Dr. Fischer received his bachelors degree from St. Norbert College in 2003 before continuing on to dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry. In 2007, he graduated with honors and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. To continue his education, Dr. Fischer completed a 4-year oral and maxillofacial residency at Cook County Hospital. While in residency, he trained alongside surgeons and anesthesiologists and gained hands-on experience in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending most of his time with his wife and two children. He likes spending time outdoors and stays active through exercise and tennis. He also loves boating, fishing, and traveling to Wisconsin to visit his extended family and cheer on the Green Bay Packers.

When he was still in school, Dr. Williams shadowed his father at work, which inspired him to look into dentistry and medicine his senior year. Going into dental school, he then shadowed dentists and oral surgeons, which helped him make the decision to fully commit to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Joining his fathers practice was an easy decision because it allowed him to give back to the wonderful community where he grew up.

He is passionate about making an impact in his patients lives and enjoys being a part of something that truly benefits their overall health and confidence. Dr. Williams practices in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery, bone grafting/reconstruction, implants, facial trauma, and office anesthesia.

Dr. Williams graduated from the College of Wooster with his bachelors degree before attending dental school at Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. He completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree in 2008 and then completed his oral and maxillofacial residency at Cook County Hospital. During his residency, he gained hands-on experience while training alongside licensed oral surgeons and anesthesiologists. Following his residency, Dr. Williams received a Specialty Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Stephens has always enjoyed both medicine and dentistry, and because oral and maxillofacial surgery utilizes aspects of both specialties, he is able to practice what he loves every day. He strongly believes in a patient-centric philosophy, in which focusing on the patients needs and goals are of the utmost importance.

Dr. Stephens practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, but his interests are dentoalveolar and implant surgery, benign oral pathology, corrective (orthognathic) surgery, facial trauma and reconstruction, and office anesthesia.

When hes not at the practice, Dr. Stephens enjoys working out, attending/watching St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Fighting Illini sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his family.
