before I came to Stony Brook dental I had a terrible dentist who I still have nightmares about. I have since seen Dr. Lee and I can say hes very knowledgeable and has an excellent and gentle bedside manner. Im a healthcare provider myself and extremely selective of the professionals I see. From a very early age, Dr. Fishler suffered from dental anxiety. He was never a good patient! But then he met his mentor, a dentist like no other, who helped him overcome his fear and opened his eyes to a career in dentistry. Thanks to his mentor, he quickly realized how great it would be to help people like him. He loved the thought of making someone comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Fast forward to today, and Dr. Fishler has been helping patients overcome their fears for over 25 years!

He is well-versed in both new and traditional methods of dentistry, which allows him to present every option to his patients. When it comes to his practice philosophy, Dr. Fishler truly believes in a holistic approach treating one patient at a time in an exceptionally gentle manner. He prides himself on his ability to make every patient feel at ease and that they trust he will always recommend what is in their best interest.
