After working in Germany for several years in the department of prosthodontics and reconstructive dentistry, he immigrated to Los Angeles in 1998. Dr. Goodman took the California Dental Board at UCLA and received his second degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Furthermore, Dr. Goodman participated in the Advanced Education in Prosthodontics postgraduate program at USC and the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at UCLA. Both programs, as well as many postdoctoral courses in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, give him advanced knowledge and hands-on skills in these great fields of modern dentistry.
Dr. Goodman was featured on The Doctors TV show as well as featured on KTLA as the dentist to many beauty queens and beauty pageant contestants. He works alongside with the Dr. Phil Show and frequently flies to Dubai for Cosmetic Dentistry.
Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Goodman earned his dental education (1990-1996) at one of Europes top dental schools, the University of Aachen. He finished his studies and doctoral thesis in Germany with great honors such as Magna cum Laude and achieved his degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD). Dentists in Germany are trained in all categories of dentistry; therefore, dentists are able to treat patients for extractions, root canals, reconstructive dentistry and dental surgery.

Dr. Kim is an expert in gums, including laser gum treatment and ozone treatment for gums. She performs surgical and non-surgical gum treatment. She is an expert in the application of ozone in dentistry and patients love her gentle touch.
She has worked with many periodontists. She is also a certified expert in the use of the Diagnodent (laser cavity detector). This device detects hidden cavities with the aid of a laser, which emits no radiation at all.
Erika has been with our office since 2004. She received her dental assistant certificate in 2003 and, therefore, is able to answer all questions in regards to your dental treatment. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.
Behnaz is a graduate of Mount Ida College in Boston. She started her dental career working as a dental assistant at an Endodontist (root canals, outch!) office, and then went on to advance her career as a dental hygienist.While attending Mount Ida, Behnaz has spent her externships at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
She provides oral hygiene care, instruction, and follows up with patients with conditions from gingivitis to severe periodontal disease. She works closely with the dentist and the patients to ensure they understand their conditions, and what their treatment options are.

I chipped my tooth on a Sunday I had an Comercial shoot on Wednesday Dr Goodman reassured me that everything would be okay.he did not disappoint!OMG I was in and out on Monday Dr Goodman was comforting and direct, I'm a lifelong customer now!

It's 2PM on a beautiful Friday afternoon. I'm desperately googling for a dentist for an emergency painful situation for my 23 yr old son. (We relocated to LA 3 months ago). Dr. Goodman's name pops up and I hit CALL. The sweetest, most professional and caring lady (Jasmine) answers the phone (office closes at 2) she kindly and patiently listens to my desperate story to help my son and tells me to bring him on IN!.....Dr. will be happy to stay and see him. Not only did Dr G see my son, he took the time to treat him! I'd love to write a step by step book of the incredible experience we had with the professional team at this office - Dr G, Jaz, and Kat talked to us/treated us like we were family or close friends. I am in awe and so grateful for them. THANK YOU

My husband and I have been going to Doctor Goodman for ten years. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and obviously cares about his patients. What really impressed us is that he put a partial crown on one of my teeth, then later the tooth died and I needed to go elsewhere for a root canal. That endodontist had to drill through the crown, and when I went back to Doctor Goodman he replaced the crown for free!

Dr. GOODMAN is the best. I drove from Palm Springs after I searched the internet. Once I arrived, We immediately connected. My teeth were a mess to say it nicely. Dr. Goodman started treatment right away. I have never been happier with my smile. I waited 20 years to get them fixed but the main thing is, that it was painless and I didnt take even one asperin. He extracted several teeth that were not able to be fixed. What is funny about this story is when I was on my way home I called my daughter. My daughter just came from her own dentist. She was just saying how she had her teeth pulled and she was unable to do anything because she was in so much pain and she would have to stay home that day. As I was driving home I was telling her the story how I had my teeth pulled and I felt so good, I could just go back to work the same day. That's how pain free the experience was. More important than that, he fixed my smile so I can finally smile again with porcelain veneers and invisalgn. What a blessing to have met him.

Dr.Goodman has been patient with me and my old broken teeth for several years and slowly with my insurance he is giving me the ability to eat again. He talked me out of pulling them couple years ago and I am thankful for that and him. I have been a patient for years and have watched him and his office grow over the years and I am so happy and proud of him ! Several businesses near him have come and gone since he opened but his just gets more beautiful. Just like your smile will.

I had the pleasure of going to Dr. Joseph Goodman to get my veneers done. I must say he is truly the best of the best. At my original appointment I told him about a tooth that was really bothering me and after his examination and X-rays he said I had a severe abscess to that tooth and gum area which required antibiotic treatment and oral surgery before I could get the veneers put on. Dr. Goodman did everything, oral surgery, antibiotics, cleaning and veneers. He truly loves his work and his office staff was amazing. Dr. Goodman will even give you his cell phone number and encourages you to call if there are any problems. He sent me multiple messages after all my procedures to make sure everything was ok. Dr. Goodman and his staff are the best. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. I had to get an implant and Dr. Goodman did such a great job that other dental professionals couldn't even tell that the tooth had been replaced. All around great dental office!

Can not ask for a better, more ethical and honest dentist. Have been going to Dr Goodman for years and also my daughter. Excellent dental care, super clean office, great general dentist and my daughter veneers look very natural. She gets compliments every time she is in public. I always tell people they are her real teeth and she gets compliments almost daily. So unreal how nice veneers look Myself I only need crowns, fillings , cleanings and check up, and Dr. Goodman has been taking care of me since 2010. The entire team is super friendly, super nice and accommodating.

Many experiences in my life had led me to believe that dentists always exaggerate or even make up dental problems upon examination so they can charge you an arm and a leg to "fix" your teeth. I began to expect it every time, until i drove out of my way to see Dr. Goodnan after hearing great things from a close friend because i was experiencing pain in a few areas of my mouth. FINALLY an honest, kind dentist that exposed many of the lies i had been told from previous dentists. Without me having to point them out, he identified the specific issue with each area of pain that i was experiencing and NO EXTRA BS. When i got the bill after service, I was surprised to see very reasonable prices from a dentist in Beverly Hills! If you are looking for a dentist, look no more. Dr. Goodman is your go-to guy.

Selective on the patients he is willing to take. There is ever present bias in the atmosphere in that office. Certain demographics the staff make you feel very unwelcome. Also sliding scale pricing depending on who you are. Some potential patients he wants you pay up front even if you have PPO insurance.

DR. Joseph Goldman does great work. It was painless and the price is right. I am with him since 2018 and every experience is good. I highly recommend Dr. Goodman to everyone, he is super nice and super accommodating. Did my veneers with him and also my general dentistry. His hygienist is awesome Update. I chipped tooth Number 9. I came back today and Dr.Goodman willingly Rebonded my tooth for me at no charge. He did an Excellent Job and I had a good laugh with Andre the Dental Assistant. I love it here and I love my tooth.

I've been seeing Dr Goodman since 2013 when I moved to LA. He is fairly priced, extremely detailed and an expert in veneers and cosmetic dentistry. I had 8 veneers, top teeth put in in 2016 and they are completely natural looking and going strong. No cracking or wear and tear. He has an excellent hygienist who gives thorough routine cleanings. I can't recommend him and his office highly enough.
