This place puts on a huge facade. Dr. Jose Calvo comes out to seem super charming and trust worthy, but he's a con artist. The rest of his team is incompetent and he seems to like it that way. They love giving you monthly appointments and when you show up they tell you the "doctor's not in today" so they can't do the work without his consent. They'll do this shamelessly and have you come in for useless appointments where you don't make any progress. It's great until you're a few months into going to this place and then the super unprofessional behaviors become obvious. And he might do some permanent, last-minute-decision-making damage to your mouth in the process.

PLEASE AVOID BUSINESS! In 2012 I came in for an evaluation on braces with Dr. Jose Calvo, in which unfortunately a treatment plan was started. For the last SIX YEARS I've had an overall horrible experience starting with the front desk staff and ending with the doctor. EVERY SINGLE appointment I've had in the last six years have had a wait period of at least two hours before being placed into a room. The staff is usually all over the place and you're unaware of who is who (i.e: hygienist, dental assistant, doctor, etc.) In the last year or so a new doctor has evaluated me (in which I was never informed of/introduced to) and apparently 'doctor to patient' communication does not exist as she's literally ONLY told me "open...close" in the last ten months. There are two front desk staff and the young lady with short hair is EXTREMELY rude, thankfully the other young lady is very nice and understanding; poor her, you can tell she's being tossed around. During cleanings, I've had the hygienist leave in rubber bands from the prior visit and not notice. My braces were removed and I was never informed of the cavities I have in at least six teeth and to top it off my last visit was in the restroom... unbelievable. Please stay away from this office and take your business elsewhere!!!

I get there just to be told they ran out of impressions. It's not the first time I've showed and been sent home to come back with nothing done.

I had spent about a year or two going to this place because I was stuck with braces. Every time I went it was always something. Either the front desk lady was rude or my mouth would get man handled by the rough cuban who for some reason could not stay focused when attending me. She would always start with some random conversations with her coworkers and when she would get to upset or something triggered her, my mouth would feel the consequence. In the end my teeth remained the same, with gaps. The doctor said it was a genetic or dna thing. I did not even care. When I went in to collect the old school retainer they made me return the plactic invisalign thing even though I insisted in keeping it as well. It's not like I payed for nothing.I was just glad I never had to step foot back in there. I was suppose to have one more visit. Most likely to see how the retainers stayed and I never went. That is how bad I hated that place. Worst Dentist Ever.
