Dr. Jose E. Delgado earned his first dental degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1995 and practiced dentistry in Caracas, Venezuela until 1997. During that time he had a private practice and also received advanced training working with other specialists in the field of Prosthodontics. In 1997 he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan and received advanced Post-Graduate training in Restorative Dentistry at The University of Michigan.
After completing his training in 2000, he became a full-time faculty member in the department of Cariology, Restorative Science and Endodontics and in the department of Biologic, Material Sciences and Prosthodontics. His responsibilities involved teaching many undergraduate dental students on the clinical and preclinical floor and managing several research projects. Dr. Delgado received the award of Instructor of the Year for two consecutive years at the University of Michigan for his teaching efforts in the dental clinic. In January 2005, he earned the Doctor in Dental Surgery Degree at University of Detroit Mercy. During his training, he was also a Part-Time faculty in the department of Restorative and Prosthodontics at University of Detroit Mercy.
In 2005, he became a full-time faculty member as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Restorative and Prosthodontics. He directed and lectured academic courses, developed innovative and relevant teaching materials, taught many undergraduate students on the clinic and preclinical floor and also taught graduate AGD students at the University Hospital Clinic. During that time, he also held an associate position at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Delgado has been involved in all aspects of General Dentistry due to his teaching. He also developed interest in the field of Endodontic and Implant Dentistry due to his experience in several advanced trainings in those fields. In 2007, he moved to Miami and returned to private practice where he practiced as an associate dentist in Coral Gables.
In 2009, he joined Dr. Gregory Tarantolas already fully established private practice in the Brickell area of Miami. Dr Delgado is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the South District Florida Dental Association, the Francis B. Veder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, The Academy of Operative Dentistry and The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Delgado and his friendly staff are dedicated in knowing their patients on a one-to-one basis, thoroughly examining in a way that is understandable to the patient, making a diagnosis and developing an individualized treatment plan that offers long term solutions for oral health and aesthetics. Their priority, most importantly, is to develop a personalized plan that fits and makes sense with their patients lifestyle. Dr. Delgado enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids and enjoys being a contributing member of the community. He is a passionate Miami Heat and Michigan fan. Go blue!
Before moving to Miami, Dr. Hernandez held a full time faculty position at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. She joined Dr. Delgados practice in 2015. In her spare time she loves to exercise and spend time with her family.
Jenny Romero earned her undergraduate Dental degree in Bogota and worked there for 4 years. She has been working in the dental field in the United States for more than 5 years. Jenny is full of life and loves to help others. She has been working with Dr. Delgado since 2012 as a dental assistant. Jenny loves to exercise and she loves spinning. She has three wonderful children who are her pride and joy and loves spending time with them and her husband.
Daughter of Italian immigrants, Diva was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She earned a B.S. degree, with a major in Marketing, from FIU and has had more than 15 years of experience of administration in the Medical and Dental fields. Diva enjoys spending her free time with her family and watching movies. She has been in our team since 2015
Cheryl has been practicing dental hygiene in Miami for 38 years. She joined Dr. Delgado in November of 2009. With her experience she brings a gentle touch and a passion for teaching. Outside of the office she enjoys family, arts/crafts, cooking and gardening.
Danielle is a Dental Hygienist with 10 years of experience in different settings; general dentistry, pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics. She joined Brickell Dental Associates as a Dental Hygienist in August 2012 after relocating from Boston. As a hygienist she treats her patients as individuals and focuses on building a relationship in order to offer the best experience when you are in her care. She feels that oral healthcare is an important part of overall health and it is her mission as a hygienist to help educate people about this connection. Danielle is passionate about all things health and wellness, aside from practicing Dental Hygiene for the last 10 years, she is also a Yoga Teacher in the greater Miami area. Danielle is an avid reader, yogi, wellness junkie and lover of nature and sunshine!
Mariana joined our team in 2012 as a Dental Hygienist . She has over 10 years of experience in the Miami area including working as an orthodontic and dental assistant . Mariana was born in Caracas, Venezuela where she earned her Dentist degree and worked mostly with children. In 2004 she moved to Miami, where she enjoys living in this multicultural, rapidly growing city and likes being outdoors with her family and her dog.
Elizabeth was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Medellin, Colombia. She joined Dr.Delgados practice in 2015. She graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Miami Dade College in 2013 where she also received her license to administer local anesthesia. Elizabeth is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. With the help of local conferences for dental hygienists and her background knowledge in general and periodontal dentistry, she educates and helps patients maintain their best oral health. On her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her loving family.

DON'T GO HERE! I went to Dr. Delgado to fix a simple chip in my tooth. I had called various dentists to get the best price. When I went to Dr. Delgado, his staff was rude and he was late. When Dr. Delgado finished work on my tooth he did not even ask if I was pleased, he just hurried off. He had shortened the tooth instead of making it match the tooth on the other side of my mouth. I was hurried up to the office administrator, who handed me a bill, and I asked if that was everything, and she said yes. I paid the copay and I left completely disappointed. Then months later, I got a call from Dr. Delgado's assistant saying I owe them hundreds of dollars and that she had been trying to reach me. This was a complete lie as they have my email, my address, and my telephone number but they never contacted me. She was so incredibly rude. I told her I would not be paying this random extra amount, and to send me a full copy of all the records that they have. It was weeks and weeks later before I ever received a bill, but no other information that I requested. I wrote back to his office but received NO RESPONSE. Instead they scheduled me for another appointment, likely to try to get more money from me. I texted and emailed to make sure the appointment was cancelled. Months later I received yet another email with a bill, with no explanation. All of this because we agreed on a price for a service, and I paid my part. Now the Doctor is trying to strong arm me for additional money that we did not agree upon.
