Dr. Jonathon Bowden was born and raised in Hunterdon County. He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1999. Upon graduating, Dr. Bowden Joined the US Navy as a Dental Officer. During his first year in the Navy, Dr. Bowden completed a one-year general practice residency which included in-depth training in hospital based dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, implant dentistry, cosmetics, and all other facets of general dentistry. Upon graduation from his residency, Dr. Bowden was elected by his instructors to receive The Outstanding Dental General Practice Resident award.
Dr. Bowden completed his Naval Dental career by spending two years at sea on the USS TRUMAN and the USS NIMITZ followed by one-year shore based in San Diego. Dr. Bowden left the US Navy in August of 2003 and joined his father to practice dentistry in Flemington, where he has been ever since.
Dr. Nikolaos Kritharis is originally from Parsippany, NJ. He has a strong Greek background from his parents who were born and raised in Greece, on the island of Lemnos. Dr. Kritharis graduated Cum Laude from New York University with a degree in Chemistry. He completed his dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers Dental School in Newark, NJ. There, he was selected into the Gamma Pi Prosthodontic Honor Society and awarded the Irwin Quinn Memorial Award for empathy, professionalism, management skills, and scientific knowledge while caring for his patients. He later enhanced his dental training in endodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and general dentistry by completing a General Practice Residency at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
On his free time Dr. Kritharis is an avid sports fan, enjoys cycling, reading, playing sports, and improving his golf game! Most of all he enjoys spending time with his wife, Vicmary, who is also a dentist and whom he met in dental school.

Our practice has served the Flemington area for over 40 years. Initially opened in 1964 by Dr. Roger Sorg, Dr. Robert Bowden Dr. Jonathon Bowdens father joined the office in 1972 and took over the practice in 1985, when Dr. Sorg retired.
After finishing dental school, and serving in the US Navy as a Dental Officer, Dr. Jonathon Bowden came to work alongside his father. Dr. Kritharis later joined the practice, bringing with him significant post-doctorate training and a commitment to patient-centered dental care.
