Doc knew at a young age that dentistry would be his life long career. Growing up in a military family, he has lived both stateside and abroad. Johnnie started his dental practice in Monson in 1986. His love of new technology has made the Family Laser Dental Center one of the most advanced dental offices in New England. Docs hobbies include photography, vintage cars and motorcycles, bird dog training, and BBQ.
Docs better half. Jill has made her home in Western Mass since birth. She and Doc married in 1991. Jill transitioned to the dental office after a career in nursing that included emergency medicine, occupational health, case management, and medical research. When away from the office, she enjoys people, plants and puppies.
Leah joined the team in January, 2021. Leah graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 2017 with her degree in dental hygiene. She grew up here in town and will always consider herself a Monsonite. When not at work Leah spends her days at home with her husband, their twin daughters, and all their pets.
Heather has been part of the team at Family Laser Dental Center since 2001 and enjoys serving the dental needs of her hometown community. She is a graduate of Porter & Chester Institute and holds an Associate Degree in Science from Bay Path University. For 20 years, Heather has proudly held a DANB certification as a dental assistant. Some of her many passions include antiquing, decorating, gardening and studying history. When not in the office, she can be found spending time with her family and Yorkshire terrier, Maggie.
Marie is a registered Certified Dental Assistant who graduated from the American Career Institute in 2012. She began her journey working for Dr. Gross in 2014 as a temporary employee and quickly became part of our team. Marie says, I enjoy interacting and building personal relationships with each of our patients, to ensure that they have nothing less than a comforting experience. Her interests include traveling, recreation at the beach, and well-spent, quality time with family.
Kerri joined our team in November, 2021. She was born and raised in Chicopee before moving to Monson in 2006. She has been in the dental field since 1992 (certified dental assistant and front office). When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Glenn, her twin teenage daughters and her pup Lexi.

I'm sure this review will sound like a TV commercial, but, I've never liked a dentist until I went to Dr. Gross. He is kind, extremely knowledgeable, and will explain anything and everything until you are satisfied. My elderly mother and disabled brother won't go anywhere else, and, frankly, I wouldn't drive them anywhere else. All the staff there are pleasant, helpful and patient. A+.

My appointment was fantastic, my hygienist was thoughtful and explained updates, perfect and gentle methods for my dental care, Dr.Gross was very attentive and personal to my dental health, I can not praise the facilitiy enough, excellent job

The staff in Dr. Gross's office is professional and very pleasant. He has a "state of the art" practice, which allows him to meet the needs of his patients in a comfortable setting. His practice definitely deserves 5 stars.

I have going to the practice for 10 years. Friendly, professional, very technological up to date, reasonable prices. Just great folks. Could not recommend a practice more highly. I actually look forward to going to the dentist !

I'm 74 years old, and so have had many dentists in my life, and Dr. Gross (and his office) is by far the best. Gross' procedures are perfect as far as I can tell (I never had any problems), and he is very quick to adopt new technologies, He also does not pressure patients into having nonessential procedures. He goes over the pros and cons and leaves it to the patient to decide whether to have it done. The dental hygienists are skilled and personable. The office is extremely well run. The same two people have run the office for at least 15 or so years. So I'm not confronted with new people every time I go there. By the way, I don't know Dr. Gross or any member of his staff outside of his office.

First and foremost, Dr. Gross is an amazing dentist. He is very proactive and explains everything so that it is understandable by all. Both he and his staff are friendly and the office is impeccably clean. When I've called with an emergency, they are always quick to respond. Truly the best experience I've had with a dentist in 62 years!!!

I've been going to Dr Gross for over 20 years! Wouldn't go to anyone else for my dental care! His entire team, Jill, Heather, and the new dental hygienist are great!

My family recently switched to Dr. Gross and had a great experience for our first visit. Leah the hygienist is fabulous! Dr. Gross is very calm and takes his time to explain things. The office is very clean and not to mention the technology is amazing. If you are looking for a great family dentist this is the one!

I saw Dr. Gross when I was a kid and always had a great experience so as an adult I chose Dr. Gross and again I've had nothing but good experiences. Him and his staff are always very professional and friendly.

I've been going to him for many years. Always a good experience, he's done crowns, fillings, a night guard. My husband goes as well. When he does novacain he never bruises.

The staff is friendly, courteous and professional as is Doctor Gross himself. The new "Covid-19" procedures made me feel safe and comfortable. If you are seeking a new dentist, I enthusiastically recommend them.
