Dr. John Faerber grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. After high school he moved to Lawrence, Kansas and attended the University of Kansas. Upon graduation from KU, he went to Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska.
At St. Anthony's, Dr. Faerber gained valuable clinical experience and medical knowledge. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Faerber returned to Kansas City and eventually joined his father Dr. H. Jack Faerber in practice. He saw how his father's compassion and dedication to his patients established a loyal and successful dental practice. Now, 39years later, Dr. John Faerber continues practicing dentistry with the same idealsand enthusiasm.
Dr Faerber and his wife Kate enjoy their spare time traveling, gardening and attending KU sporting events. They have raised three sons Jack, Max & Joe whom have all graduated from KU. As a family they enjoy fly fishing , hiking & traveling together.
Dr Faerber is a member of The ADA American Dental Association; The KDA Kansas Dental Association; The 5th District Dental Society; The Dental Implant Study Club and annually attends the AAOMS American Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons national symposium on dental implantology. Dr Faerber also attends many continuing education programs to further his knowledge on the latest in dental procedures and technology.
