Rude and unprofessional dentist. First red flag was a sign at the front desk announcing they charged a copay fee for every service. They had my insurance on file (Medicaid) which has no copays & still charged me. I had to call my insurance & go back in to ask for a refund. Dentist also has an ego problem. I was experiencing back molar pain and simply asked for x-rays to confirm this and got a rude phone call back from the dentist who was offended that I questioned his "expertise" and cancelled my appointment telling me to find another dentist if I didn't trust him. If you're that confident, an x-ray covered by my insurance should have been no problem. A bad sign if a dentist doesn't listen to anything a patient has to say and takes it personally. I visited a new dentist this week who asked why x-rays weren't taken which are standard and I did have a cavity which is getting filled. If you want a dentist that listens to you as a patient and doesn't belittle your concerns about your health, don't go here. Update: I was there for 20 minutes at the most. All you did was examine my mouth and shave a little between 2 teeth to prevent contact. I called my old dentist for x-rays which were clear quality (he has excellent reviews for wisdom teeth extraction). I don't know why you're blaming me for the quality of scans done by a fellow dentist. I wanted bitewing x-rays which are covered by my insurance and you even acknowledged that they would be covered but deemed them not necessary. Also what additional supplies/procedure would require a co-pay? All we did was a 5 min standard dental exam which is again covered by my insurance. You can call them if you don't believe me. And if I was wrong, why did your receptionist refund me and apologize? I didn't want a panorex because those are covered every 4+ years so you weren't even listening to me. And there were no referrals. You just said if I didn't like anything you did, I could just go see another dentist in the area with no specific names. I don't know what multitude of problems you're talking about. I had a simple cavity and contact between 2 back teeth that could have been filled after an x-ray. Concerning how many things you got wrong with your story. You make it sound like half my teeth are falling out. I had a simple problem and went to a different dentist because your ego couldn't do the job.

Dr. LeClair is a master of Dentistry. His range of skills are beyond most dentists' capabilities and his frank assessment of your teeth that he will give you straight up with options and long term expectations is bar none the best of professionalism. His many years of experience and commitment both to the soldiers and sailors of the nation and his commitment to the citizens of Pennsylvania is beyond commendable. I trust him implicitly.

Just moved to Pennsylvania with my children after a divorce. Was on state medical. He lectured me about how he went to school taking care of his kids and didn't need to use his state. I couldn't get out of the chair fast enough after having to sit and listen to him lecture me about how bad I was for being on state medical. I would never in a million years recommend this man to anyone. I know there are so many more people after seeing recommendations for dentist and the complaints the other people had. Find yourself someone that actually doesn't think they are above you as they have their hands in your mouth. Regret it. I could give him a no star I would.

Where to start that is the question.see I was one of those people that had a fear for dentists and what they were about so I left my mouth go for a long time however when I went to see Dr leclair and his awesome secretary I almost Instantly lost that Fear....I was embarrassed and very happy at same time. When I opened my mouth I expected the look I Always got......However I asked a question and he Said....Don't worry I've been at this for a Long time and you Will Smile with confidence once again just let me get in there.....lol. Trust me when I say ....I had needles in my mouth and this guy making me LAUGH and after that I knew I won't worry cuz this guy knows what he's doing and truly enjoys making people's lives better with a smile and seriously I can't gloat about this man enough all I can do is Thank Him and his awesome secretary for their continued service to the smiles of the future!!!!

Where to begin! Covid safety precautions were subpar. Both the receptionist and Dr. LeClair kept pulling their masks below their noses. I also thought that I was getting an examination and a cleaning as has been the case with all other dentists I have been to. This appointment was just an examination. Would have been nice to know when I scheduled. I also got lectured about medication being poison. Needless to say I will not return!

My wisdom teeth experience: Other dentists: "Bro we don't do wisdom teeth" Every oral surgeon in State College: "The earliest we can do is 6 months from now, and that'll be $2000" Dr. LeClair: "How's tomorrow sound, and $385 total?" Some heroes don't wear capes, 5/5
