Dr. Prather believes that education and training is the key to providing the highest level of care. He received his bachelors degree from the University of Cincinnati, and his doctoral degree at the Ohio State College of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at Dayton VA Medical Center prior to completing a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Prather also completed a one-year anesthesia residency at Metro Health.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The continuing education, advancement and clinical skill that is required for board certification is a sign of Dr. Prathers commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
Dr. Prather focuses on providing the finest in dental implant reconstruction and regularly attends continuing education courses to provide the latest techniques. He has done thousands of surgical procedures, and has placed hundreds of implants over the past 20 years. Many procedures required bone grafting and other techniques necessary to provide excellent and lasting results. Dr. Prather believes in working closely with your dentist to achieve the best results possible.
Your plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Payment is due at the time of service. We do accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover payments.
We care about you (our patient) and we know that having surgery can cause anxiety (to say the least). We do not want the financial aspect to add any confusion, so we have provided this information to help you understand clearly your payment options and responsibilities. An estimate will be provided prior to your treatment. It is only an estimate but we will make every effort for its accuracy. All estimates are based on primary dental insurance to calculate your payment.

I was very anxious about having a tooth extracted. It has been 55 years since I had a tooth pulled. Dr. Prather and his staff eased my worries. They were very understanding, accommodating and professional. I'm glad that they are in our area and relieved that I didn't have to go out of town for the best care.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'm only a few hours post op from getting my wisdom teeth removed, but so far so good with minimum pain! Once I got past the needle insertion, the procedure was smooth and easy!

wasn't me that got seen but it was my husband and he says, they was absolutely phenomenal, really like how the dentist numbed the outer gums before numbing with a needle internally, loved the cleanliness professionalism and friendliness provided! all around a great dentist office super professional staff and dentist!
