Dr. Hansen believes in natural, beautiful smiles created through custom cosmetic dentistry and high quality general dentistry. Its very personal, very rewarding work.A native of Sacramento, Dr. Hansen graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Genetics followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UC San Francisco in 1994. Dr. Hansen is a past lecturer and clinical instructor in esthetic and reconstructive dentistry at the Rosenthal Institute (NYU, New York) and the prestigious Kois Center (Seattle, WA). He continues to be an invited speaker and lectures internationally on topics related to esthetic dentistry.
Henry has been a dental technician for over 19 years and a dental ceramist for over 15 years, and he worked at Frontier Dental Lab as an anterior ceramist for five years. He even owned his own aesthetic dental studio for five years! Henry worked for Dr. Hansen for six years and recently rejoined our team. He is obsessed with creating the best, natural-looking smiles for every patient, and he has a huge passion for personal growth. Outside of the office, he loves playing golf and spending time with his wife, Jacque, his daughter, Sophie, and his son, Jackson.
Amy has been with our team for 21 years. She feels truly blessed to have been with Dr. Hansen for so long, and loves working for a patient and kind leader and teacher. She began as Dr. Hansens Lead RDA before transitioning to the front office, and has enjoyed working in all areas of the practice during her time here. She loves visiting with our team and with our patients, hearing about their day, their families and their vacations. Amy and her husband, Dana, have been married for 20 years. They have a son, Ryan, who is 19 and a daughter, Abby, who is 15. She loves traveling to new places, camping in the mountains, visiting the beach, and spending time with he family and friends. Amy also enjoys watching her son play college football.
Shelly has been in the dental field for more than 23 years. She worked as a dental assistant for 8 years, after which she became a hygienist. Shelly has been with our office for four years. Shelly is passionate about her career, and loves being able to help her patients through education regarding their oral hygiene and overall health. She loves working for Dr. Hansen not only is his dentistry amazing, but he is a kind employer with a wonderful team and the best patients ever.Shelly volunteers for the Smiles for Kids programs, Smile Keepers of Sacramento, Childrens Dental Health Fairs and the VA Clinics. She has also served on the SCC Board of Dental Assisting and the Dental Hygiene Administration.
Anna has been an RDA for two years. She has been part of the Dr. Hansen team for one year. She went to Carrington College to become a RDA. It was a 8 month program with 180 hours chairside and two board-approved tests before she could obtain her license. Anna has been with her boyfriend James for three years, and they are currently expecting their first child. She was born and raised in a small town called Paradise, CA, and has only lived in the Sacramento area for three years. What she likes to do with her free time is spend it with her family, by going camping, fishing, and doing many Sunday night dinners together. Anna believes the best part about being part of this amazing practice is knowing she always has a home away from home. Working with amazing co-workers and patients make it the main reason she became an RDA. She is a very hardworking and passionate person making her a great asset to the team.
Hailey grew up in Orangevale, California. She completed her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene at Loma Linda University. After graduating in 2018, she moved back to Northern California to begin her career. Before working with Dr. Hansen and his team, Hailey was primarily working with a temp agency. She felt that it was a great way to expand and apply her knowledge because each office was so different.She loves spending time with her family, especially outdoors. Her favorite trips are when the whole family is together camping and riding dirtbikes and ATVs. She also has a huge passion for animals. She grew up always fostering kittens during the summertime. Now, she has a chocolate lab puppy that occupies all her free time with walks and Frisbee at the park.
Unique among cosmetic dentists, Dr. Hansen has one of the only on-premise cosmetic dental laboratories on the West Coast. Working with a full time ceramist, he is able to monitor a patients treatment cycle and progress firsthand. I dont believe in farming out my patients care, he says. My practice is about providing personal attention. Over the years, Ive been proud to form relationships with several generations of families. Dr. Hansen has placed over 10,000 esthetic veneers and crowns throughout the last 20 years.
Dr. Hansen is also the co-inventor of the pediatric zirconia crown, a revolutionary product that has given children a healthier and more esthetic option to the traditional silver stainless steel crown.

Wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Loved Dr. Hansen! He was very friendly and helpful! I had a great consultation and x-rays! He referred me to Endodontis, Dr.Hwang in Roseville, and, set me up for a same day appointment for a root canal and cleaning out & removal of access in that same tooth! I wa in alot of pain before I went in yesterday, but, not anymore!! Best root canal I ever had!! I can't wait to see Dr. Hansen for the follow through crown replacements I need!! Dr. Hansen is the best!!!!!

I actually LOOK FORWARD to any time I have to go to the dentist! Not only is the office staff phenomenal, they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable "like family"! I am in my early 60's, and Dr Hansen is the BEST DENTIST I've ever been to in my entire life! He catches potentially small issues before they become big problems!

WOW!.....Truly life changing.....When I decided to take the step toward transforming my smile I have to admit I was very nervous. Past experiences with various dentists made me feel as if this was the norm when having dental work done. However, after becoming a patient of Dr. Hansen's I now have a different perspective. From the moment I walked into the office I felt welcomed and comforted by the professionalism and compassion they have for their patients. I knew right away I had made the right decision! Dr Hansen & his staff are amazing. They have been our family dentist for many years and have done beautiful cosmetic dental work for my son & I. Everyone in their office is super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable being there. Dr. Hansen is the absolute best at natural looking veneers. He listened to what our goals were, then gave his recommendations & did a fantastic job of achieving them. Our expectations were far exceeded and have received many compliments on our beautiful smiles. The practice is honest and does what needs to be done, but doesn't up-sell on things that don't. Highly recommend Dr Hansen!!
