Dr. John M. Fish is an honors graduate of St. Lawrence University and earned his Doctor of Dental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has completed postgraduate training at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is a graduate and Fellow of the prestigious Misch Implant Institute in Pittsburgh. He has also completed I.V. Sedation training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Fish is a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Western Piedmont Dental Society. He is an active member of the Dental Implant Associates of North Carolina and is past-president of the Catawba Valley Dental Society.

Dr Fish has been involved with the Kois Center since 1998 and has been a Mentor since 2003. He has embraced the Centers conservative, conscientious, and scientifically based approach to total patient care.

Hello, my name is Carolyn. Ive been working in Dentistry since 1985. I obtained my Dental assisting certification from Western Piedmont Community college and have been married to my husband, Kevin. We live in Hickory where we enjoy time with our granddaughter.
My name is Melissa and I am a Certified Dental Assistant for Dr. Fish. I completed the certified dental assistant program at Western Piedmont Community College in 1989 and joined Dr. Fishs office that same year. My husband and I live in Valdese with our two children and enjoy time together going on picnics, camping, hiking, and just being outdoors.
Hi, my name is Elisabeth. I acquired my Dental Assisting certification from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School and started working with Dr. Fish shortly after. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and going fishing, hiking and camping.

Wow! I have never been to a dental practice with this level of professionalism. Dr Fish and his staff are top notch patient centric professionals. Oh and did I mention the highest quality of dental work I've ever had. Dr Fish won't do procedures just to do it and make money. He is truly a caring Doctor for his patients. Very thorough!! Smiley now and very happy!!

Great staff and very friendly. Dr. Fish did a wonderful job when I went to him with several broken teeth. I have a great fear of going to the dentist and he and his staff made the experience very easy for me! Would definitely recommend him!

I paid $399 for my initial visit to be set up with a treatment plan for potential implants for missing teeth. The staff is very cold and unwelcoming. It took 3 visits with Dr fish to establish a treatment plan. The reason for even visiting was put on the back burner as other cosmetic procedures were introduced before the implants. I was uncomfortable with paying $7000 upfront before the concerns I came to them for, were even addressed. It definitely seemed as though that was an issue for this practice as I could hear them talking about me "changing treatment" while I waited to be brought back. I had my cleaning performed here and have had issues with a front tooth being chipped since. I received a second opinion elsewhere and have a different treatment plan now. The new practice did not receive the the xrays from this practice that I paid upfront and out of pocket for. I do not recommend.

First visit to discuss your needs you go away feeling as if you and the entire staff are old friends. Very good first impression. It's been a year since I first met with Dr. Fish and his staff. I was given an itemized plan of action for the results I needed and wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with the the way things have worked out. Dr Fish and his staff always make sure you are comfortable with the procedures they are doing. I highly recommended them for your dental needs. I have been going to Dr Fish for around six years now and I have always been please with the quality of service I have received. He and his staff always make sure you are comfortable. I went to see Dr John Fish DDS in 2004 and him if he could make me some teeth that i would be proud of and he did he done a wonerful job so i went back to him to have another top and bottom plate made because they do ware down after awhile but i think 17 years is great still dont have any prouble with them only they have warn down alot from use so if you want a beautiful smile you need to go to see Dr John Fish DDS you will be amazed at his work and very happy with it to

Dr. Fish and staff are one of the best professional teams I have ever encountered. All of them are friendly, thoughtful, and very good at what they do. I appreciate the care and treatment I have received there and I have been a patient of Dr. Fish for over 20 years. If I could, I would give them at least a 6!

Today was only my second appointment, I had xrays and exam. The girls taking my xrays were super nice and very patient, my exam with Dr Fish was very thorough, never had such a detailed exam. So far I'm liking everyone there and am very excited to get started and very anxious to have the smile I've wanted and waited so long for
