Dr. Alachnowicz grew up in the Montclair-Dumfries community. In his hometown, he attended Potomac Senior High School while later graduating with a degree in Finance from James Madison University. He then earned his Dental degree at Virginia Commonwealth University (formerly, the Medical College of Virginia) in 1999. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Alachnowicz has enjoyed keeping up to date while attending many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. His new dental office showcases his vision for a modern, technology driven practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a licensed doctor of Conscious Sedation medication.
Dr. Alachnowicz lives in Montclair with his wife Rachel, who is a physical therapist for Prince William County Schools. They have four children- Jacob, John Raymond, Carolee, and Zachary. Coach Dave enjoys baseball when he has any free time. If he is not in his office he is on the field. Lunch time consist of line-ups and score sheets. He is committed to the game from spring to the end of fall. Go Red Socks!

Financial/InsuranceWe will be more than happy to submit all PPO insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. This is a contract between you and your insurance company. We are participating providers with United Concordia, Delta Dental, Cigna Total, Metlife, BC/BS Grid +, and United Healthcare. For patients who require major work, financing is available through CareCredit and Lending Club. We also accepted many forms of payment including; check, cash, and credit cards.

I was treated as though I had an appt. I read the date wrong and showed up for an appt. that was really in March of next year! Can you imagine!!! I even got up at 7 am( retired) to get to the 8:00 am appt. The whole office came to my defense by treating me like I was welcome and Dr.Alachnowicz did a procedure that was to be done next week! I am smiling bigger with well taken care of teeth and feeling great because I was catered to in a major way. Thank the team for being their usual great selves! Sincerely, M. Langworthy

Dr. Dave is the best dentist I have ever had. He has gone way above and beyond for my family. My son broke a tooth and Dr. Dave was able to fix it on a Sunday afternoon so he could go to the first day of school the next day without a broken front tooth. He is an amazing dentist!

I've lived in 7 different states and have seen many different dentist. I can say hands down this is the best dental experience I've had this far. The office is clean, nice, and very welcoming. I was greeted with a smiling face at the front desk. The woman at the front desk was very knowledgeable in regards to my particular insurance. My dental hygienist Jenn truly made sure patient experience was definitely a priority. Dr. A was very professional, excellent bedside manner, and personable.

Dr. Dave is the best dentist I have ever had. He has gone way above and beyond for my family. My son broke a tooth and Dr. Dave was able to fix it on a Sunday afternoon so he could go to the first day of school the next day without a broken front tooth. He is an amazing dentist!

This office is absolutely a cut above. Phenomenal. The two receptionists and one biller I worked with were courteous, kind, and had a great sense of humor. My hygienist Lori has been in mouths almost fifteen years and is the best I've ever had. She had great control of her tools and foot pedals, was entirely concerned about my experience, and was communicating with me the entire time to make sure I wasn't in any pain. Lori is passionate, and loves her job. Dr. Dave was another great experience. He listened to everything I had to say, and didn't rush anything. He and Lori discussed everything as we went through my list of issues, and you could tell he was a true manager, and not a boss. Dr. Dave is a leader, and his team loves to follow him; it shows in every aspect of this office. I'll be back every six months.
