Dr. Rose received his D.D.S.from Stony Brook Universitywhere he earned numerousawards and scholarships in Periodontics and Oral Biology. He then continued his education at Stony Brook Universitywhere hereceived his Post-Graduate Certificate in Periodontics.Upon graduation, Dr.Rose successfully completed the examinations to become a Diplomate of TheAmerican Board of Periodontology. He is Board Certified in Periodontolgy and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Rose has presented research at the National Level and has lectured on numerous topics including Dental Implants, Bone Grafting, Periodontal Regeneration,Soft Tissue Augmentation and Practice Development.Heis a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University where he teaches advanced surgical techniques in Periodontics, Regeneration and Implantology.
Dr. Rose participates in a variety of National and International Dental Organizations andStudy Clubs throughout Long Island. He is the Immediate Past President of the Long Island Academy of Periodontists, Spear Study Club President and isa Director for the Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Rose maintains private practices in Smithtown and East Setauket, New York where hefocuses on Surgical Dental Implantology, Soft and Hard Tissue Augmentation, Oral Medicine and Periodontal Regeneration.
Dr. Rose lives in East Setauket with his wife Beth and son Jackson. He enjoys various sports, CrossFit, reading and participating in volunteer and community events. These days, you will probably find Dr. Rose spending quality time with his family and enjoying the North Shore community.
Dr. Robles grew up working in her fathers dental family practice, which instilled in her a passion to help others and drove her to pursue her own career as a dentist. She completed her degree as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus after obtaining a Masters of Public Health at the same institution. Following her DMD, Dr. Robles completed a one year General Practice Residency at Rutgers and a Chief Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. She came to Stony Brook in 2014 to join the Post-Doctoral Program in Periodontics and quickly soared to the top of her class. There, Dr. Robles worked on dozens of comprehensive treatment plans and hundreds of surgical procedures for 3 years. During these years she received advanced training in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontics; periodontal plastic surgery, guided tissue/guided bone regeneration, implantology, sinus augmentation, and laser dentistry. She is certified in the LANAP laser protocol.
After completing her specialty training she successfully obtained her board certification with the American Academy of Periodontology. Becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology is the highest level of achievement in the specialty of periodontology, beyond the mandatory educational requirements.
Dr. Robles is fluent in English and Spanish. She also participates with Suffolk Country Dental Societys Board of Directors and New Dentist Committee. Dr. Robles lives in Mount Sinai with her husband and puppy Chewy. On her free time she enjoys the going to the beach and exploring outdoor trails.
Monica has been with Dr. Rose since 2014. She was originally trained as a chairside dental assistant and transitioned into our Financial Coordinator. Over the years she has taken many courses and training on dental billing. This training has provided valuable knowledge to answer questions you might have regarding your dental needs, treatment plan or insurance questions. While being a part of our practice Monica became the mother of two beautiful children. During her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and dancing.
Jennie is of Hungarian descent originally born in Romania. She has lived most of her life in Massapequa with her husband and their children. Jennie has been with Dr. Rose since he started his practice in 2009. She began as Dr. Roses chairside assistant and is now in charge of our professional communications. She enjoys meeting our patients and making them feel like family.Her assistance at the front desk assures that our Financial Coordinator and administrative department runs smoothly.
Diane graduated from Farmingdale State College, where she earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been practicing for over 30 years. Diane is passionate about providing the highest level of patient care. She talented and knowledgeable but always provides great conversation about recipes and world events. She has been working with Dr. Rose since 2007 and licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She is a proud mother of three adult children. In her free time she enjoys fast cars and cooking but can often be found reading scientific dental journals.
Millie graduated of Hostos Community College, where she earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been practicing for over 30 years. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. It is her top priority to treat patients with compassion and to provide the quality care for health and disease prevention. She is committed to maintain and improve the overall health of your patients. When she isnt cleaning teeth, she is a proud mother of three children who enjoys archery, country line dancing, and interior design.
Nicole first met Dr. Rose during her dental assistant training program at Stony Brook. She is a high energy hard worker who takes great pride in her organizational skills which helps us keep our back office running smoothly and efficiently. It is because of these great skills that she became our lead assistant. She is caring and compassionate with our patients throughout their time in our office. On her free time she enjoys spending her time with her boyfriend and friends as well as traveling.
Michele is our chairside assistant and brings with her 11 years of experience. She grew up in Queens and later relocated to Long Island. She has a wonderful bedside manner which keeps patients comfortable whether she is chairside with the patient or helping out at the front desk. Michele loves to spend time with her family, her dog Atlas and cat Cali as well as doing arts and crafts.
Pamela is the newest addition to our office and our part-time assistant. She has been a dental assistant since 2010. Pam is warm and gentle with patients all while showing great technical skills. She also on staff at Stony Brook Dental School and is fluent in Spanish. When shes not working Pam enjoys going to beach and spending time with her family and dogs.

Dr. Rose has removed 3 teeth for me over the years, and each one has been PAINLESS. Even with an infection, he finds a way to numb it and get it done. I've had no issues afterwards, and he's done an implant for me as well. Also saw me for a same day extraction when I was in pain. I'd strongly recommend him.

Dr. Rise is highly skilled and what impressed me the most is he kept in constant contact with my regular Dentist daily about my issue. My regular dentist referred me to Dr Rose for a crown lengthening. From the moment I met Dr Rose, I knew I was in great, capable hands. I recovered quickly and my results were amazing according to my regular dentist!! His staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Rose is an amazing dentist! I hate the dentist tremendously, so I was in panic mode when I didn't have a choice but to find a dentist for a serious cavity. Long story short, he not only is a great dentist, but his personality is far from boring, w/ an energetic positive vibe as he enters to give u the complete & thorough rundown of what he needs to, why he needs to, how it will occur, and the total amount of time it will take to completely finish ur procedure. If ur looking for a dentist that knows what he's doing, explains in full detail his concerns, solutions, and then listens to his patients with their thoughts and concerns, then look no further! Not only is Dr. Rose wonderful, but his entire staff are wonderful as well. Hope this helps

I was referred to Dr. Rose by my general dentist for an emergency appointment. They saw me and treated me same day. The entire staff was friendly, caring, and supportive throughout my entire experience. I cannot say enough positive things about this office. I'm very anxious during dental procedures due to past experiences and this was one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. The front desk was friendly and very personable. The assistant walked me through the entire process and sat with me afterwards to explain instructions and until I felt comfortable to leave. Dr. Rose was easygoing and explained everything from start to finish. I was sent home with a little care package that had very clear post-surgery instructions as well as any contact numbers I could need. I have never written a review on ANYTHING before but I am just blown away by how positive this miserable experience went for me. I will definitely be recommending this office and returning for any future issues. Huge thanks to the entire staff here!!

I was referred to Dr Robles by my regular dentist for a procedure and I was scared out of my mind. I expressed my many concerns and major fears with Dr Robles and I cannot say how wonderfully patient and caring she was. All of the office staff and assistants were equally as amazing. They eased my fears and made me feel very comfortable. I am now on the mend and would absolutely go back to this office shall I need anything else in the future. LOVED them.

I had my oral surgery performed at the Setauket office. All the staff were friendly and professional, which, is a direct reflection of Dr Rose. Dr Rose is a wonderful doctor. I would not go to anyone else for periodontal work. I was very impressed.

I have been to this office 3 times now. The latest was a 2 hour plus set of procedures. First and Foremost I can not say enough about how kind and friendly each and every member of the staff are in this office. They make getting dental work as pleasant of an experience as is possible. Dr. Rose himself is also VERY nice. He takes plenty of time to explain everything, without being condescending or speaking in too many technical terms. He also took the time to customize my course of treatment based on MY plans to move out of state. The work (That I have had done so far) has been top notch (as far as I can tell.) If you follow the detailed post procedure instructions that they give (and take the time to review with you) then the discomfort is kept to a minimum. I would like to say that I can't wait to go back for more work, but that might be a bit of a stretch. ; )
