Joe R. Wilson, DDS was born and raised in native Roswell, New Mexico. He attended Ricks College and UNM for his undergraduate program before moving to the University of Missouri-Kansas City and receiving his dental degree.
Dr. Wilson was nominated one of the Best Dentists in the Albuquerque metro area in 2011 and continues to uphold that standard. He continues his learning of dentistry through multiple dental organizations and study clubs. This helps him and his office stay up on top with the latest dental procedures.
Dr. Wilson loves working with his patients and helping them feel comfortable in their own teeth. He gives every patient his undivided attention so they can choose the best solutions for their smile. He strives to be helpful and gentle and is honest with every patient.
Today Dr. Wilson lives in Albuquerque, with his wife and three children. He loves to volunteer in a local baseball little league as an umpire, go fly fishing with his other dental buddies, and hit a couple of golf balls when he has the time. Dr. Wilson looks forward to meeting you and providing the best dental services in Belen, Los Lunas, Socorro, Mountainaire, and Albuquerque areas.
Karen first started in the dental field as a dental assistant in 1997 and soon after changed to front office in 2000. Since then she has worked in multiple dental practices helping manage, organize and care for patients. She has been working in our office since 2015 but has known Dr. Wilson for a little over ten years. She is what we like to call our insurance 'guru' and is able to help with any insurance or financial questions. Today Karen and her boyfriend love spending their time outdoors. They and their three furry kids (cat and 2 dog) love hiking and long night walks.

All of the staff are extremely helpful, professional, and caring. We look forward to going for every visit and know that we are in the greatest of care at all times. We feel very blessed to have found Dr. Wilson's office!

Hands down the best dentist. I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. Dr. Wilson was very understanding, very gentle, and made sure I was ok the entire time. He talked me through the entire procedure start to finish. All of the staff was very sweet, caring, and Knowledgeable. Clean office, very organized, and right on time. Will definitely recommend to those looking for dental care.

Dr Wilson is always very professional ;he is always concerned about comfort for his patients. I had very anxiety provoking experiences as a child with dentists and he is always very careful about comfort. He is hands down one of the best dentists I've been to.

Dr. Wilson and his entire team are amazing. Not only does Dr. Wilson pay attention to detail, everyone pays attention to detail. Very friendly staff and welcoming. Dr. Wilson has a soft hand and I trust his work. He is very thorough and explains things in understandable way. He is also not the type of person not to rush things, which I am okay with because he takes pride in his work. I would recommend him to anyone and have referred family as well.
