Dr. Joan Lynch was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was a dental assistant and a dental hygienist prior to going to dental school at State University of New York at Buffalo. She graduated in 1991, and did a hospital residency at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. She moved to Florida in 1992, worked in a cosmetic practice in Brandon, and opened her office in Wesley Chapel in 1993. Dr. Lynch loves taking many hours of continuing education each year, most notably at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, of which she is a graduate. She is also a past member of the Council of Innovative Dentistry, which is a 3M research and development group for dental products. She is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also received her Associates Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute.
The area of Wesley Chapel has changed extensively since she started her practice here in 1993, but what hasnt changed is her passion for dentistry and how it can affect peoples outlook on their life. She has many patients who have become hard, fast friends. She enjoys the camaraderie with patients she has developed through the friendly professional aura of the office. Its her life.
Dr. Leanne Sullivan was born in New York and moved to Spring Hill, Florida in 1989. She attended the University of Florida for both her Bachelor of Science as well as her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degrees. After receiving her degrees, she moved to north Tampa and joined Dr. Lynch in 2005. She has complemented the practice with her current training in all facets of cosmetic and general dentistry. Dr. Sullivan has been advancing her knowledge and skills through intensive courses at the Kois Center in Seattle. These courses have allowed her to restore even the most complex dental cases in a predictable way to create healthy, comfortable, and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Sullivan is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has also received an Associate Fellowship through extensive training from the World Clinical Laser Institute. She is on track to be a graduate of the Kois Center in the summer of 2020. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sullivan spends time with her husband, Patrick, and two children.
Rachel became a Dental Hygienist in 2005 upon receiving her Associates degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College. Prior to becoming a hygienist, Rachel worked for 10 years as a dental assistant. She is a board member on the Technical Advisory Board for Pasco-Hernando State College. In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with her 3 granddaughters Makayla, Raelynn, and Arabella. Rachel has been a part of our team since 2005.
Melissa graduated from Dental Hygiene School at Pasco Hernando State College in 2012 and joined our team in 2014. Melissa enjoys getting to know her patients and building lasting relationships with them. Outside of dental hygiene, Melissa enjoys staying busy with her husband, Bill, and their 2 daughters, Isabelle Rose and Harper Willow.
Colleen graduated from Oxford College of Dental Hygiene in Ontario Canada. She moved to Florida and has been a part of our team since 2018. Colleen is passionate about providing quality care and helping patients achieve good oral health. In her spare time Colleen enjoys the company of her husband, Hugh, and their pets Hank, Goose and Turkey.
Treena is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who began her dental career in 1999 when she received her dental assisting certificate from Concorde Career Institute in Tampa. She joined our team in 2006.
Taylor graduated Dental Assisting school in 2014 and joined our team in 2017. Taylor has great enthusiasm in providing patient's with the best possible care and education to better their dental health. In her free time, Taylor enjoys painting and traveling with family.
Ashlee is a Dental Assistant and joined our team in 2016. Ashlee has been caring for dental patients since 2009. She has a passion for dentistry that grows every day. She loves helping patients obtain their perfect smile and a healthy mouth. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, being outdoors and making memories with her twin boys and husband.
Tiffany is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and joined our team in 2019. Tiffanys passion for dental, combined with her empathetic personality, make her patients feel at ease. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
Maryellyn Graduated from Erwin Technical School in 2011 for Dental Assisting. During her career as a dental assistant she learned how to work on the Administrative side of dentistry as well. She has apassion for both! Helping our patients, and treating them like family makes her day. In her freetime she loves being in the water, spending time with her family/son (Jordan).
Kelli joined the Administration Team in 2016. She brought with her over 8 years of experience in the dental profession. She and her husband enjoy traveling to watch their two sons play baseball and spending time with friends, family and their dog, Miggy.
Kimberly began working in the dental field in 2000 while she was still in high school. She received her certificate for dental assisting in 2004 while living in Hawaii where her husband was stationed with the Marine Corps. Now the Insurance Coordinator for the office, Kimberly handles all the ins and outs of dental insurance processing. During her free time, she enjoys cook-outs with friends, boating, DIY projects, and spending time with her husband, Adam and two children, Ryleigh & Tucker.
Casey is part of the Administration Team. She received her BS in Biology from St. Leo University in 2003 and has been a part of our team since then. In 2019, she received her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certificate and occasionally utilizes that to assist with patient treatment. Casey enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and family, as well as being outside with her chickens and dogs.

My favorite dentist. I had some traumatic experiences when it came to dentists which caused me to avoid going to the dentist at all, until I went to Dr. Lynch, she and her amazing staff made me feel like they care about the health of my teeth, every time I go there, I am not stressed, I am not scared, it's always a pleasant experience, they are easy going but also honest also they have the best in the business and are always efficient, I've been coming here for almost 4 years and counting and I truly and highly recommend this dentist practice.

Amazing! The whole staff goes above and beyond and they do not push unnecessary treatments. Surprised how different they are from my past dentist office and how much more thorough they are! Just such a great experience!

Best Dentist, no pain shots, kindness and compassion are the Hallmarks of her practice. She has a sense of humor which helps diffuse the fear and anxiety. I cannot give her a high enough recommendation.

I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and must say that the team at Magnum Opus (dentists, assistants and office staff) is by far the the absolute best I have ever had the fortune to engage and is unequaled in their care for their patients. Additionally, the associates they engage for oral surgery, endodontics and orthodontics are also superb. This is the best choice you could make.

I would recommend Dr. Lynch and Dr. Sullivan to everyone. They are both very proficient and professional doctors. The office personnel are very friendly and make you feel at home. Dr. Lynch's assistant, Ashlee, is top notch. Very professional and thorough. Great place, makes your dental experience painless. 5 stars.

The entire staff is wonderful, kind, caring, and skilled! If you are someone who "hates going to the dentist", a visit with this group may change your mind about the "dentist" forever! Taylor is meticulous, talented and caring; she really helped put my mind at ease during some pretty major dental work. Thank you Taylor! I have been going to dr Sullivan for about 5 years now. She has had her hands full with me! From helping me with an emergency appointment early on a Saturday morning to fix a broken veneer (not her ork)...to ensuring me that I would live when I called her with a clogged salivary gland and couldn't figure out why my face was swelling! Dr. Sullivan is personable and beyond professional...we all know she is a very busy lady, but that doesn't stop her from giving each patient her full attention. Everytime I am in her chair...I learn something... She explains her work thoroughly wich for those of us with "Dental anxiety" truly appreciate! I thought about moving several times over the past few years but honestly its my amazing dentist that keeps me in this area! I am beyond thankful for Dr. Sullivan and her team!

Everyone is always pleasant even at 7 am when I go. Always helpful and explain everything. At 57 I have seen my share of dentist's and this is far the best!!!
