Dr. Jin Yang entered the School of Stomatology, West China Medical University in 1978, and obtained a bachelors degree in stomatology five years later in 1983. Because ofhis academic excellence, Dr. Jin Yangwas admitted to the doctor clinical partof the school,focusing on the clinical correctionof early dentition malformation.After 6 years, he obtained adoctor degree in oral medicine in1989. Dr. Jin Yang is one of the firstpeople to receive a doctoral degreeafter Chinas reform and openingup. As a rare doctor at the time ofthe Ministry of Health, Dr. Jin Yang wasassigned to teach at the School ofStomatology, Sun Yat-se MedicalUniversity, Guangzhou, China. In1991, he was named associateprofessor at age of 32. Three yearslater, Dr. Yang went to theUniversity of Southern CaliforniaSchool of Dentistry to continue hisstudies. In 2000, Jin Yang passedthe National Dental LicenseExamination and became a dentistwith US medical qualifications.
Since graduating from West ChinaMedical University in 1983, Dr. Jin Yanghas been working in dental clinicsfor 35 years and clinics in SanDiego for 17 years. Dr. Jin Yang hasextensive clinical experience formany years of clinical practice. Dr. JinYangs main dental services includethe following: dentition correctionwith braces, Early orthodonticcorrection of the reverse bite (Class3 correction), the sooner thecorrection is started for reversebite, the better, usually It can bestarted at 4-5 years old, and formost orthodontic correction usuallystarts at the age of 12. I have been a patient here for more than 10 years. I stated to have periodontal problems, so Dr. Yang did periodontal surgery and deep cleaning for me. After my age of 30, I still had an underbite from when I was little. I debated for some time whether or not to get braces. I finally decided to have Dr. Yang to do my braces to fix my teeth. He also pulled out four wisdom teeth and four premolars to fix my bite.The result was very good from the braces and the teeth he pulled out. After ten years, my teeth are still straight and never went back to my original underbite. I've worried a lot for some time if my underbite would relapse but it never did. I'm happy with all of the dental work in this office.

I have been here and this place does an AMAZING job. This dentist is very nice and not only does he do a good job, he also makes his dental work look very good. This is a great place to do braces as well. I have had teeth cleaning before, and he has done the best job I have seen in years. I definitely recommend this place for teeth cleaning. And another question for you "Angry Patient", I am wondering if you are just trying to frame Dr. Jin Yang for something he never did. He does a good job and doesn't want to do this for money. Dr. Jin Yang is a great guy and everybody should come to his office. Also, Dr. Jin Yang speaks English and Chinese, so if you are an immigrant from China, he will understand your Chinese perfectly.

Jin Yang doesn't care about your teeth. He just wants easy money. 1, My first filling done at Jin Yang fell off after only a few weeks. 2, One of my treatments at Jin Yang was extremely rushed because "the next patient" is coming. 3, After the filling is done, it protrudes above the surface and makes me uncomfortable, so I requested Jin Yang to smooth it out, but he rejected. He said "filing it down will harm you tooth. You will get used to it". Total BS. I guess the true reason was, well, "next patient is waiting". 4, OK, this one really grinds my gear. I hit my tooth really bad when I was ice skating 2 years ago. I went to Jin Yang. He took an X-Ray, and said "it looks OK". So no treatment was done. Now! That tooth turns out to be dead after the injury! Now I need to pay $1550 for root canal + crown! I used to have UCSD insurance! I could have saved a big deal with insurance but now I graduated and I have to pay out of my own pocket! Thanks Jin Yang! Bonus story: Jin Yang is a total lair too. On my first visit, he told me and my girlfriend "you both have dirty teeth, I suggest a deep cleansing". So yes. And when I actually did it on my next visit, he says your teeth are pretty clean. Jin Yang has no ethics whatsoever. He's not worth being called a "doctor". His business mode is simple: lure Chinese immigrants who do not speak English to his clinic and use every chance to get their money! Please, even you don't speak any language other than Chinese, do yourself a favor and avoid Jin Yang. Wei Liao Ni De Ya Chi ,Bu Yao Zhao Yang Jin !Bu Yao Bei Ta Zhang Tie Chu Lai De Xue Li Pian Liao . Zai Mei Guo Duo Nian Huan Shou Gao Deng Jiao Yu Jing Ran Lian Zui Ji Chu Ying Yu Du Shuo Bu Hao ,Ke Zhi Ta Du Shu De Shi Hou Jiu Jing Chu Liao Ji Fen Li . Bu Yao Zhao Yang Jin !
