Dr. Jim Wang was originally from Culver City, California. He attended Venice High School in Los Angeles. After graduating from the UC Berkeley with honors and a degree in Molecular Cell Biology, Dr. Wang obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry - one of the top dental schools in the United States.

Dr. Nicole Miller was originally from Whittier, California. She graduated from UC Irvine with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Miller obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. She served as the dental school class president her third and fourth years.

Lorena is our insurance coordinator. She handles all insurance claims and finances for patients so they don't have to. Lorena was originally from San Bernardino and has a son at Oak Valley Middle School. She is wonderful with children and has a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome when the walk into the office.

Vanessa is our registered dental assistant. She has a son in middle school and her husband is a professional MMA fighter. She has a son in middle school. She helps with complicated procedures and makes sure the office runs smoothly.

Ashley is our certified dental assistant. She is a mother of two. Her husband is in Marines at Camp Pendleton. She helps make sure all the patients are comfortable and feel at home when they are in the office.

Dr. Jim Wang was originally from Culver City, California. He graduated in the the top 5% of his class at Venice High School in Los Angeles. Afterwards, he graduated from UC Berkeley with Honors and a degree in Molecular Cell Biology. He worked a couple of years for NASA Ames Research Center assisting in the development of the CTAS Air Traffic Controller project. However his passion to help those in need lead him to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Jim obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry - one of the top dental schools in the United States.

It is here at UCLA School of Dentistry that Dr. Jim met and fell in love with his wife, Dr. Melanie. After graduation, they both moved to Saint Louis, MO so that Dr. Melanie could complete her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University. Upon completion of her residency, they realized how much they missed California. They decided to settle in San Diego to raise their family. Today, Dr. Jim is a proud father of his 2 year old son, Tyler Wang.

While at UC Irvine, she researched the use of laser technology and fluorescence in the early detection of oral cancer. Dr. Miller obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. She served as the dental school class president her third and fourth years.

Following her graduation from dental school, Dr. Miller was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. While in active duty, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. She then went on to serve as the dental officer on board the USS OGDEN (LPD-5) for over two years. After her sea duty, she practiced general dentistry at the Branch Dental Clinic in San Diego, completing her active duty commitment.
