Dr. Jillwen Sung is an endodontist treating patients in thegreaterHouston area. She received her DMD dentaldegree at Harvard University and went on to complete her endodontic residency at New York University. She has been in private endodontic practice for more than 15 years. She truly believes that dentistry is a helping profession and believes in helping her patients to understand if they even need a root canal treatment, or if their pain originates from something else, and helping her patients to think about what option is best for them.
In addition to her practice, she loves teaching and has taught for more than 8 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor at both the University of Texas, Houston Health Science Center and New York University. Dr.Sungis a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Endodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Shekeeps her practice up-to-date by attending conferences and seminars through her professional memberships.
