The result will be more personalized, effective and efficient care. We believe in personalized care as a means to deliver quality services, improve population health and stability, and reduce costs. Valuing the concept of the right person, the right treatment, at the right time means we see care as predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory.

Share Our Selves emphasizes care of the whole person though our comprehensive services; medical, dental, clinical pharmaceuticals, behavioral health, and social services. We offer excellent case management, patient navigation, and solutions for social stressors for families and individuals of lowincome and/or experiencing homelessness in Orange County.

Christy Ward is the Chief Executive Officer of Share Our Selves (SOS). She is grateful to lead SOS, continuing the amazing legacy of essential services to the communities that SOS serves, as well as being able to incorporate community service and advocacy as part of her daily work.

Christy joined SOS in September 2019 after serving as the Chief Executive Officer of One Community Health in Sacramento and prior to that was the Chief Operating Officer/Primary Care Services Director for the Multnomah County Health Department in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, where Christy grew up. She also served in previous leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente in Oregon and at Oregon Health and Science University, where she began working as a nurse and moved into progressive leadership positions. Christy understands well the importance of community partnerships and collaborations with safety net clinics, health systems and providers, and civic leaders.

Christy earned her Masters degree in Communication and Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University and her Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration at Ashford University. She is a licensed practical nurse and is a current board member of the California Primary Care Association, a previous board member of the Oregon Primary Care Association, and is a California representative for the OCHIN CEO Steering Committee, which provides strategic input for the OCHIN organization that hosts the Epic electronic health record for safety-net clinics across the United States.
