Dr. Maymi graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Center in 1979 and was a General Dentist in the United States Army. Dr. Maymi has had extensive training in Oral Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Infection Control. While in the military, Dr. Maymi was the hospital staff general dentist at Brooke Army Medical Center, where he was in charge of the dental care for all medically compromised patients in the hospital. He has had articles published in the Oral Surgery Journal and is a member of the Utah Dental Association and the American Dental Association. While being in private practice in Utah over the past 23 years, Dr. Maymi has continued to attend multiple advanced dental courses in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry with the Utah Dental Association and National meetings. Dr. Maymi focuses on family dental care with emphasis on cosmetics. Technology and continuing education are mandatory for the standard of excellence required for himself and his team. Dr. Maymi wishes to provide a safe and healthy environment for all his patients and is adamant about his staff providing afive-startreatment to all his patients.
Marilyn W. Pickett grew up in Utah. She graduated from BYU with her BS in Business/Education. She has taught school, raised four children, and graduated from UVU in Dental Hygiene. In 2010, Marilyn was awarded the Esther Wilkins National Leadership Award. She has volunteered with many dental service teams not only in the United States but also in Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. Marilyn is the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and is called nana at home. She has served as President of the Utah Dental Hygienists Association, and currently serves on the National Council of Policy and Bylaws as well as in the American Dental Hygienists Association as Utah State Delegate. Marilyn not only works for Dr. Maymi, but also teaches Dental Hygiene at Utah Valley University. Marilyn loves working in clinical dental hygiene; she loves her patients and tries to treat each patient according to the preventive needs.
Deanna Erickson is the oldest of five children and was born and raised in Utah. She has worked in the dental field since 2012, first as a dental assistant before going to school to become a dental hygienist. Deanna graduated from the Salt Lake Community College Dental Hygiene Program in 2017 and then continued her education and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Health Education and Promotion from Utah State University in 2018. She enjoys helping others improve not only their oral health, but overall health as she strives to educate her patients on how to best care for their oral hygiene needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pup Luna, going to the movies, or doing DIY projects to decorate her home.
Amber graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Utah Valley University and has been working as a hygienist in Utah for seven years. She regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up on the latest research in dentistry. Amber loves getting to know her patients, and truly enjoys helping them achieve their healthiest smiles! When shes not working, Amber enjoys hiking with her husband and baking cookies.
Elise was raised in Northern California and moved to Utah in 2015. She met her husband on a blind date in College and they were married in 2017. Elise got her degree in dental hygiene at Fortis College in Salt Lake City. She is currently finishing her bachelors degree in family studies at BYU Provo. Outside of keeping teeth sparkly clean, her favorite things to do are read, cook, fail miserably at baking, and hang out with her rescue tabby, Luna. Elise loves educating her patients about oral health and would one day love to teach microbiology to Hygiene students.

Think twice before coming to this place!!! In my experience Dr. Maymi did a procedure without my authorization and then charge me and act as if they had warned you about this and lie in his clinical notes to be able to charge the insurance. Doctor Maymi is aggressive in his style of working (and no, this is not normal for a dentist) he just wants to finish as quickly as possible to go see someone else. I went to this place for a simple cavity. The doctor didn't even look at the X-rays they did, he started working on another tooth that he was not authorized to do any kind of filling and he did such a TERRIBLE job that another doctor had to fix Dr. Maymi's deplorable work. He put me on a very strong steroid medication and then I realized all I needed was ibuprofen. Simply the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. I'm sure you can find a better place than this.

I worked here as a dental assistant in the past and not only was Dr maymi very rude so is his lead assistant and after looking at how they run their office I do not recommend this place for anyone. You can definitely find a better and more friendly office in the west/south Jordan area.

Dr. Jerry F. Maymi & Associates are kind and patient people. The nurses do an outstanding job with doing a regular cleaning and are good with making you feel comfortable. Although, the doctor on the other hand is very rough with standard cleaning. If I come with pain the doctor leaves me with bigger pain that I came with and the nurses leave my teeth feeling clean and pain free. Overall recommend it just has its perks.

Worst experience ever, not only the work he did was deplorable, and I had to go to another dentist to correct and fix the substandard work that Dr. Maymi did, but also faced him charging my insurance twice on work not performed , if that is not enough when I called the office to ask for Dr. Maymi to correct issue, he took it upon himself to talk to me in a very condensing and insulting manner. Not only he is not professional on his work but his conduct as well. Never again and I am not the only one that have experienced this poor level of service.

WORST experience I've ever had in my life at a dentist! Dr maymi told me that my insurance would cover everything I had done for the 2 times I had been there, I made sure 2 times that my insurance would cover it all before I had any work done, months later I recieve a call from collections saying that I had a bill from them and that I needed to pay it. I had then called his office and spoke with the front desk and they told me that I had to pay it, and I had told them the time I had went in they told me my insurance would cover it and the person on the phone told me that it didn't cover anything. Also, the cavities I had done with him cracked. He didn't change his gloves after working on a person next to me. DONT GO HERE it may look professional but it's the total opposite I would give this 0 stars if I could
