I think that the Henry Ford model of care, which is Midas Muffler: come in, problem-oriented, like we were trained, is severely lacking. Problem-oriented: whats your chief complaint?Were all trained that way, but people are coming in with multiple agendas. Theyve got their chief complaint, theyre worried about money, theyre worried about their kids. Theyve got a lot of competing and interlocked agendas in their life, and I think having a doc, having me mindful of that, its priceless, really, for the right person. If someones coming in, and we fix his tooth, its like, Okay, I got that. But when someones coming in, theyre scared, theyre worried about body integrity, theyre worried about how to preserve something, and the scary aging of life, thats kind of where I live.
I am a new patient and so far I love everything about this office! They are very energetic and welcoming. After practicing for nearly four decades, Dr. Jerry Farrell remains passionate about dentistry for both adults and younger patients. Your comfort and happiness with your smile is why he continues his education to this day.
Dr. Farrells father and father-in-law were dentists, which inspired him to pursue his career helping others. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1982, Dr. Farrell went on to start a private practice of his own. Over time, he has achieved several milestones:
Outside of the office, Dr. Farrell enjoys his time with his four children: Bryce, Maclaine, Sawyer, and Colby. Dr. Farrell is also a certified yoga teacher and the founder of Organic Yoga, co-owned with his daughter, Bryce. Dr. Farrell is a certified drum circle teacher. Hes also passionate about reading, writing, flying (as a trained pilot), rollerblading, gardening, competitive shooting (IDPA/sporting clays), scuba diving, carpentry, and computer technology.
Carolyn has been providing excellent care here since 2012. A Massapequa native, she graduated from New Jerseys Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental Hygiene program with honors. She has three beautiful girls and loves taking long walks and escaping to the beach whenever she can.
Nancy has been with us since 2015. A Schenectady, NY native, she graduated with a degree in accounting and computer science from Siena College in Albany. She has two lovely children: Matthew and Jessica. Nancys hobbies include cooking, traveling, and camping.

I've had some very bad experiences with dentists who have made major mistakes with my teeth. Its made me very anxious when it comes to dentists. Dr. Jerry has made me feel good about the experience and quality of working im getting. Explains the process and works with you as a client with your preferences, fears, and finances.

In the short time I've known Dr Farrell and his staff, I've whole heartedly gained so much respect and trust in them. Not only are they good at what they do and how they do it, but they make you feel like you're part of the family. My fiance has struggled with his teeth most of his life and actually got the wrong work done on his mouth, he got his brothers work done so his trust in dentists flew out the window that day. On Tuesday, was his first official appointment to start the work he desperately needs, and that day was the first time he ever let me look in his mouth. I was so impressed with the quality of work that Dr Farrell did and my fiance would not stop talking about his great experience. I wish I could hug Dr Farrell myself if we didn't have a pandemic. We still have a long road in head of us but it's an adventure we are happy to be apart of with him and his amazing staff. I wish there was some way I could express my gratitude besides a review but no words can explain how genuine it is.

I am so happy that I went to Dr Farrell! I had a tooth that I lost about 3/4 of and Dr Farrell explained what he thought would be my best option and provided all the financial info so I could make a well informed decision! He did the procedure and I am thrilled with the outcome!! He staff is so nice and helpful. Wonderful experience!!!

Dr Farrell totally changed my teeth around with Invisilign, which made me feel 10 times more beautiful!! If you're hesitant about it, don't be- just GO for it!! One of my best investments ever made. A gorgeous smile never goes out of style and he makes it very simple.
