When your child first arrives at our office with you, we want to do everything we can to give your child a positive experience to build on. Pediatric Dentistry has undergone tremendous changes in the past several years. These changes have most definitely been for the better. Still, many parents may have some apprehensions for their child or misconceptions based on their past experiences. It is important to us to address your concerns as well as put your child at ease during your first visit.

Dr. Jeremy Wiggins began his Childrens Dental practice with his father in June of 2002. He graduated from Walla Walla College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 and entered Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in September of that year. Graduating four years later, with a DDS degree and was awarded the American Society of Dentistry for Children's (ASDC) certificate for outstanding interest and proficiency in dentistry for children. Dr. Jeremy was accepted into the Pediatric Dental residency program at Loma Linda University where he received extensive training in hospital dentistry and emergency dental trauma. His residency was completed in June of 2002 at which time he moved his family to the Lewis Clark Valley.

A children's dental specialist like Dr. Jeremy is a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed an additional two years of post-doctoral training in the recognition and treatment of childrens dental and orthodontic problems.

Specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, interceptive and comprehensive care (braces), and the treatment of handicapped or chronically ill children.
