Dr. Jeremy Wade Chance grew up in Waskom Texas (Pop. 1800), a small town in East Texas. He graduated Magna Cum Laude fromStephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor's of Science. He attended The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston where he earned hisDoctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004.While attending dental school, he served in numerous leadership positions with many student government organizations.
Dr. Chance served as President of the UT Dental Branch Class of 2004, Vice President of the Student Intercouncil of the UT Health Science Center andserved as the President of the UT System Student Advisory Council. In the later role he represented all 15 UT components in the State of Texas.While President, Dr. Chanceestablished the first UT System-Wide Outreach project known as 'United To Serve'. His passion to help others still continues as Dr. Chancevolunteers in the community and is an active member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Chance has been practicing dentistry including restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistrysince 2004.
