Before becoming a full-time working mom, Dr. Jen enjoyed being an active participant in both the Norwich and Colchester communities. She was an active member in the Rotary Club of Colchester for many years, and she was on the Board of Directors of the Colchester Business Association and Chairman of their welcome committee.

She cherishes the time she spends with her husband and their young family. They enjoy swimming, surfing, boating, skiing, biking and running, and she as participated in the Hartford Marathon since 2002.

Outside of work I am a mother of 4. I enjoy spending quality time with my children. I like going for walks and enjoy the outdoors, and a good book when I can find time to read.

June (Orthodontic Assistant)Hi, I'm June! I've been working in the orthodontic field for over 26 years. I started out as a patient getting braces in an orthodontic office, and ended up working at that office for many years. This is how I grew to love orthodonture. I have been working as an orthodontic assistant here at Family Orthodontic Care since 2003. I chose working in this special field of dentistry because I enjoy seeing the amazing changes in each patients treatment. Outside the office, I am a mother of two college-aged children. My passion is baking! I am often asked to bake my cakes for special occasions whether it be birthdays, weddings, or graduations. I also enjoy walking my dogs, Oscar and Lyla Grace, and still being a soccer mom! I look forward to working with you and your family during your orthodontic treatment!

Hwa-Jin (Orthodontic Assistant) Hi, My name is Lee and Family Orthodontic Care is a wide-spread, caring and compassionate group of professionals. We look to satisfy each and every age group and are proud to be the impact in their life.I graduated from Huntington Institute in Norwich and completed my externship here at Family Orthodontic Care. I have been working at Family Orthodontic Care for10 years, and I have developed a second family with my co-workers and even our patients. When I am out of the office, I enjoy travelling, spending time with my children, and family. As a dental professional, I truly enjoy my job, especially knowing I am helping our patients achieve the smile they have always wanted.

Nicole- (Orthodontic Assistant) Hi! I'm Nicole andFamily Orthodontic Care is a caring, professional and positive environment for not only its staff, but most importantly its patients. We strive to reach each patient's individual needs, and we do nothing less than that. I can speak from both sides, because before working here, I was a patient. I loved coming to visits and the staff knowing me personally -- such as asking questions about school, sports, and family. I later started as the office's sterilization technician, and overtime by working here helped me decide what I would like to study in college. I am currently an orthodontic assistant here at Family Orthodontic Care and a sophomore studying dental hygiene at Three Rivers Community College. In my spare time, I enjoy going to country concerts, teaching dance part-time, and I love spending time with my family. I am excited about expanding my horizons in the dental field and look forward to the rest of my journey through school.

Amy (Financial Coordinator) Hello, I'm Amy! I am the newest member, the financial coordinator, and feel honored to be part of the team here at Family Orthodontic Care! Our doctors and staff are very kind and caring people who always treat each patient's individual needs; as we are all unique. And While I am new to orthodontics, I have a long history of bank financing prior to joining the team. I also received great training from Wendy prior to her departure and I am ready to begin the process of serving your needs like she did. I am here to answer your financial questions and assist you with your financial needs. If you have insurance with orthodontic benefits, I submit claims in order for you to receive your orthodontic benefits. When I am not in the office, I love to enjoy the natural wonders of Northern New Hampshire with my husband and hunting dogs. I also love to garden, can and occasionally make wine.

Mandy started working here at Family Orthodontic Care back when Noah was building the ark. She left for a brief period to stretch her wings in another aspect of dentistry and now is back. Mandy is currently trained in all aspects of orthodontic assisting but you may also see her with her administrative hat on as well since she is dual-trained to serve in many capacities. When Mandy is not here you will find her enjoying time with her husband and daughter Madisyn.

Paisley- Introducing the newest member of the team, Paisley the French Bulldog! It is unlikely that you will meet Paisley during your first visit to Family Orthodontic Care unless you ask since she is kept in Dr. Lowney's office where she has her bed and toys. Paisley is a graduate of Quinebaug Kennels Puppy Boot Camp where she spent time in intensive training to be an office dog. She is loving and friendly to everyone she meets and has perfect manners. She is not hypoallergenic so children that are not allergic are always welcome to visit her during their routine visits. Paisley is looking forward to meeting you and your children to give a compassionate face to orthodontic care. She can relate to orthodontic issues since she has an anterior crossbite and lower incisor crowding. Paisley is excited to meet new people and shower them with canine love.
